Greetings,

Need some reassurance; Germinated some seeds this week using the wet paper towel methods. All the seeds germinated and are now in soil under my 200 w Eco light.

How long should it take for the sprouts to break the soil? it's been a tad over 24 hours and nothing. Should I start worrying? when should I start worrying.

This my first grow with "real seed" and first time using the paper towel. For my last harvest I just germinated directly in soil.

Slowly scrape the dirt a bit and check...won't hurt'm. marijuana is suprisingly resilient. it's what i do anyway, hasn't hurt yet.

Anyone else with a time table? ie How long did it take for your sprouts to break soil?

3-5 days. I use fourescent to germ.

I wouldnt be worried after only 24 hours. Some will sprout that fast, but most take a few days. I've had some that took nearly a week but still turned out healthy.
