St Pattys Day massacre

There's treachery afoot
I can't seem to remember when I switched the girls to 12/12, none the less they are looking "done" with 20% trichromes amber and the rest mostly
cloudy with a random few clear. I did some creative pruning on these girls and they have looked a bit odd from day 1 so.......in short...chop or wait????
This was an experimental grow, pruned to keep the darned things within my grow cabinet. 400 watt HPS in miracle grow from clone. Strain is White widow.

Grow box is a converted wardrobe from Lowes measures roughly 24 inches deep, 4 foot wide and 4.5 feet tall. I get quite a bit of growth to the ww the first couple weeks of flowering so chopped all the bottem branches in attempts to stunt the vertical growth...worked beautifully. The girls did not gain anymore than five inches in height and now fit nicely in my space. I try to keep the light about 1 foot from the plant tops. Last grow I got about two feet of height after I switched to 12/12 and had to pull em out of the cabinet as I could not get the light up any higher. Keep it cool with a fan vented to a chimney. Have you grown ww before? I have had good sucess to date, a friend and I have been cloning the same female for about three years. Seems an easy strain to grow....one I have not had much trouble with.

Thank you!!!
Sometime I just need another opinion. I was thinking about chopping them this morning but think I may give em until this evening for one more day of light. Thank you for the reply! Now I feel better about the murder taking place this evening.

if you are in hydro you should flush them with water or better yet a rinsing solution a few days - i don't grow in soil but would assume you should flush soil too (but i don't know). You should also deny water for 12-24 hrs. before harvest and cut in the morning before the lights come on to ensure the highest THC content (I read that in "Grow Great Marijuana" and here is my favorite harvesting, drying and curing links for your perusal...

Thank you for the links...always appreciate additional information. Been growing for about nine years and STILL cannot decide when is the best time to harvest. I tend to lean towards the early side for the up, but always find solace in a second opinion. i flushe them about two and a half weeks ago, been giving filtered water and molasses since. Watered them two days ago so will try your advice and chop them tomorrow with my morning expresso!!
