You can tuck any fan leaf to let some light to the lower branches, I trim a few every couple of days. For me it helps with light and what the plant puts into the tips of branches! Don't go crazy but snip one or two that's in the way and see what happens in a few days. Some won't prune at this stage so look into it a bit, for me it is necessary and my plants respond well to it. I Veged under 4 foot t8 led 5000k and they stay short and stout so I have to open them up. Wait a couple days and then they are thicker than before wtf? Repeat, repeat it has worked out well for me. I wish I started training and selective trimming sooner! I read you started the training now pull opposite branches with equal tension. 2 lowest first and then the next highest. You have them leaning so most growth will likely be on the side opposite of your bend. There will be more light so the plant will fill that space, try to get it going out in multiple directions so you end up with more bus sites. Long winded but I hope it helps

My next grow I intend to use your strategy sheeshm, I waited to long in my opinion to train The op with his bend already started I'm not sure wouldn't this be hst or horizontal idk

Yeah i totally agree with selective minimum trimming helps create a good canopy
