Sorry for the bad writing skills just looking for a bit of advice/ help!
Problem is, a lot of us won’t even bother reading stuff like this. I read it like 4 times, you said and 14 times but I’m not sure what you need help with still. Root rot?? Wet, prob watered it to death and/or have crappy medium. Check this out for some basics on getting a seedling to live.

I have been planting after germinated with the taproot and planted the one that sprouted and had two sets of leaves and then just wilted during night time. The other 3 seeds never even broke the surface after planting them.

No worries bud, TONS of terrible germination advice out there. Keep it simple, don't "pre germ" in paper towels, plant seeds direct to media-some kind of seed mix, good potting soil, or coco coir-keep them moist like a squeezed out sponge and warm 24/7 78-80 deg. Here is a good guide with no BS: mandalaseeds.com/Guides/Germination-Guide

You probably overwatered and the poor taproots drowned. How much did you give them?

Just my 2 cents. Former cold climate basement stealth grows. Sphagnum seriously lowers ph. Mad issues when I played with it. I would suggest avoiding it until plants get strong. Use a starter mix for germ and seedlings. Get a cheap organic potting soil and add 30% perlite. Frugal start you can succeed with while learning. Just need a ph and ppm pen with some water soluble organic ferts to keep things happy. Best of luck.

Yo you are growing in a shower.?
I thought i heard it all before but this ghetto grow has taken the cake
Not using it anymore and I said I don't have the money to get a little grow tent or I'd already have it so I am just reaching out for ideas and I live in Colorado if it helps to know what region.

Thanks for your input and not being an idiot I wouldn't have posted it to have fun! Hard enough to ask for help but it's harder to get real help

Second thread same question pretty much.

My method is 50/50 coco coire and seed starter. Water germ ONLY. Never towel based root ripper method. And I use 1"x1" starter trays till roots come out the bottom before transplant.e the same mixture as a 2" round x 4" deep plug in my soil when running autos. Don't like disturbing the temperamental bastards.

Hey man, welcome to RIU. Looks like you got some good advice so I won't muddy the water on you. Good luck, home the next seed grows out for you.
