Starting a new mix got questions.

Hey,
So what does the coco bring to the table that the Promix isn't?

My damn Walmart didn't have the plain clay. Saw what was probably the right stuff at a farm store but it didn't say calcined. About 3 weeks away from needing to mix.
Coco makes it red. Very important...
But seriously, coco changes the texture a bit and it's cheap. For gritty kitty I used coco that's ph neutral & treat it like soil.
I bet any kitty litter that is non-clumping & unscented would work. I got the tip about special kitty from @RM3. Maybe he has more info.

Need some help
Growing with fox farm soil my ph is my water coming out sink is 7.1 should I change the oh before watering the plant or let soil do all the work. I think to much and read to much not understanding .. This will be my 2nd grow first I harvest but had problems at end with the soil I used.. Help me please?

You will get more attention if you started your own thread. It would help if you explained you situation a little better also. The PH of the water should not be a problem, I think that it is better to have it close to 7 rather than 6. It probably does not have much of a charge and could be changed fairly easily, but I wouldnt. I would like to see you start your own thread!
