Starting from seed..how long??

I am starting from seed this time. I got fem AK47 Jack Herer Afghan Kush & Trainwreck. Usually 24 hours to germ then a couple more days to get its seedling leaves so lets say about a week to get its first set of leaves. After that I am thinking about 4 weeks in veg under a 600w HPS. I am using a aeroflow2 18.

Is 4 weeks veg long enough to get a decent yield?

no one has any input? I thought for sure someone would have an opinion

grow it for 4 weeks and see depends on how that plant does in the first 4 weeks

depends on your grow space. if you're vertically limited, you'll want to shorten your veg time. i usually flower after 30 days or around 12". 600 watts won't penetrate the canopy as deeply as a 1000 watter. to me, 600 watts means shorter veg time.

I was thinking about using the 2 - 4ft 4 bulb T5 HO for side lighting...I already have these

ok what u wanna do is veg it for a gook 5 1/2 6 weeks ..then put it on its 12/12 for about another 7 weeks or so depending on how ur growth is , and yea the T5 Ho are amazing to grow with by themselves so if your using it with an hps ur yield shoud be veryyyy nice

i agree i have a 250 hps and eight 6500k 2ft ho fluorescents supporting a half lb

you should LST while you veg so you can get hella bud sites with less popcorn nugs
