Yes you should have enough room since your gonna have to sex them. As for the tinfoil i would say pass on that and get some mylar. It's cheaper and more effective. And if you can swing it go for a 400 watt metal halide to get things rolling. Proper airflow and ventilation is a must. You don't want them temps getting to high. I assume you have read the GROWFAQ? Just do you homework and all should be well.

Hi bobireland,

Welcome to the forum. The best advice I can give you at this stage is to read the FAQs and various guides and tutorials here:

GROWFAQ

As regards your grow room you have plenty of space to start your seeds off, but unless your seeds are feminized then bear in mind that only around half of them will be female, which is what you want, so you will most likely want to get rid of all the males at some stage thereby increasing the amount of space you have for the females.

I wouldn't cover the room in foil. Mylar is the perfect solution, but it is not cheap. After that I would say paint your room matt white which is a better solution than foil. And if you do use foil, use the matt side, not the shiny side, to reflect your light. Otherwise you can get hot spots and burn the leaves on your plants.

Feminized seeds are specially produced to give you, say, 99 per cent chance of getting all female plants. Normal seeds you get roughly 50 per cent male / female. If you bought your seeds on the internet you should be able to easily check whether the particular pack you bought were normal seeds or feminized seeds - if feminized they will have been in the "Feminzed / Female Seeds" section of the website (as you weren't aware of them being feminized, chances are you bought normal seeds).

Either way, it's important to check your plants carefully once they reach flowering to make sure any male plants are identified and removed. As hothousemary said, the FAQs will help you on that score.
