Stealth Bagseed PC Grow 320W CFL Scrog

hey everyone! haven't posted since I was a uneducated grower back in 2007. I learned my stuff with a few outdoor grows and now started this PC Box about a week and a half ago (November 1, 2011). The only question i have is that i want to try and use a screen with 1/4" spacing, but wanted some opinion if that is too fine.

Items Used:
PC case (18"x15"x8")
Stock 4" intake van with 12v power adapter
Two 6" pots
Power Strip with bulb adapters (110v --> light bulb)
$5 Timer
2 60W CFL's
2 100W CFL's (100's on the outside, 60's in the middle)
Soda Bottle CO2 (1 cup sugar, 1 Tablespoon yeast, half filled with water)
Screen (1/4" spacing)
Cardboard light diffuser

The entire setup cost me less than $40! Almost no light comes out and its pretty stealthy. They are growing pretty fast with the CO2. With the scrog I am trying to get an oz and put them back into veg to re veg. Normally I clone but i figured that I would try re-veg. Not sure about nutes yet, kinda wanted to go organic.

looks good to me. Id give it another few days of full light/vertical growth before throwing the screen above it. But def a good start to a stealth PC grow!!

Dude I am trying a PC grow too, how do you have those CFL's set up? cause it looks way better then mine. is that like an adapter to a plug?

And giving the inside of your case a quick flat white spray paint is a cheaper alternative to mylar and will save alot of your light!

Hey thanks for the advice! Sorry I am on my phone currently and can't post a pic of the adapter. Ill get one up in a few hours. But yea I glued the power strip to the top of the wall and used the adapters and they plug directly into the strip. The adapters are just an lightbulb socket with two prong on the back. Got them from home depot for like $1.50 each.

Hey! glad to see someone is interested. I just put up the two screens for both plants. thought i would update every week but i guess i need to post more. the girls are good. great color and is taking the shape of a nice dense bush pictures tomorrow after class. way to hammered right now hahaha Oh and thanksgiving! ill need a plant sitter haha happy thanksgiving in advance. that turkey is going to baked

im starting a cabinet grow with 2 HO T-5s im interested in seeing how urs turns out. keep updating. this is one of the few active places.

hey i was just thinking, wouldnt it make more sense space wise to do a hydro grow? you would have to be careful with maintenance, but i think it would be easier, not to mention the improved growth. i dont know much about hydro, but i think i might try it for my next pc case grow attempt

I have the screen up. they are about 6 inches above the soil. Plants are just starting to fill up the screen. sorry it took a while to get the pics up. Ill post more often from now on

You're definitely gonna need to make more of those holes and probably make them bigger. 2"x2" is a good size.

Def not 320w of light. More like 100w. Your taking the incandescent equivalent value not the actual wattage of the cfl.

hey masterbaker thanks for keeping up on my grow. yea i want to do hydro but dont really have enough information on how to do it in the small box. soil is just kind of simple for me. And goo5e if your ever in florida come chill with my kitten, molly haha. I am home for thankgiving but ill be back sunday night. pics tomorow. excitied to see how they grew since ive been gone.
To Do:
open up center holes in screen
start training them down
start a little fert

oh and yea i wrote the watt equivalence not the actual but its alot of light for the little box.

Hey everyone!
sooo i have come up with some bad luck and need some help.
First of all i tied down plant 2 and gave her water, with that water she had a growth spurt and snapped at the bend. The screen wasn't working out so i took both off and am doing straight lst on the plant in tact.
Also the lower leaves are turning yellow and dyeing, what does it look like to you guys?
Next time around i am going to do it like penjayo with one plant in a shallow wide pot and have the lst bars rather than a screen. The screen just didn't work on this micro of a level.
All this aside i still have two plants kickin and ones not so bad

hey man yea definitely like your lst set up. and sorry i spelled your name wrong penyajo. I have the solid time release nutes 13-13-13 (Dynamite, only thing i have access to, and low on cash) so cant regulate them for shit. the yellowing color hasn't changed since i added them so i don't know. Def not heat burn, the lower leaves are the ones affected. Well thanks for watching and advice always awesome
