After a failed outdoor grow, i was thinking about having a nice little spot in my room where i could put two plants from seed to flower. im planning on using a CFL setup but i have no idea what i should use.im looking for a cheap space efficient setup so if anyone could give me some advice it would be nice.

First of all I am going to come out and say that if you are living with your parents the best stealth setup is to not grow in your parents house. That is putting their livelyhood at risk unbeknown to them. That isn't a fair thing to do to the people that gave you free housing for (insert age here) years.

If you are growing in your own apartment then just putting them in the closet get some cfl's, a fan and some filters, and tah dah instant grow room.

for temp. setup re: lights, make sure to buy the right kelven lights, ie. 6500K from any large grocery store or home depot type place. make sure the light is WHITE, not yellow.

if you want to go for a long term setup which is still cheap, buy the bulb from EBAY bc they sell in bulk, meaning 3-4 packs, obv. more if you want more, but in my case, i bought one super gnarly CFL from ebay that is 13" long and has 7000lumen output at 5000K rating.

make sure it is advertised as full spectrum bc you want blue and red wavelengths.

There's the dresser grow box, or you could stack two rubbermaids together and make a growbox like this guy:

I saw someone the other day working on a CFL growbox using a large upright trash can... Don't know how it's going to turn out but that's pretty stealthy.

If your apartment's got a porch with a closet that's not a bad place to hide your setup and grow box as long as you've got the scent filtered and keep it under control and so long as no one can see what your doing out there.
