Stem Rot? What is this attacking my babies?

Remember damping off is a fungal disease and should be treated as such. However, in this case, far more than in most other diseases, prevention is better than cure.

not trying to be hostile here but this is bad advice. Planting it deeper will only increase your damping off.
Clear some of the media from around the plug and put a small oscillating fan down there. Stake her up good. she may make it if you take quick action. You can also take a toothbrush and treat her with H202. mix like 10ml/ltr and scrub that stem. this will kill any active bacteria and the fan will dry up any moisture you have put there.

I use those root riot plugs and stem rot can be a frequent problem with them if you overwater and/or do not have enuf air circ. Plant them as high in the pot as possible(it looks like you did) I used to take a pair of sharp scissors and trim off the top corners of the plugs @ a 45degree angle before transplanting to reduce the amount of moisture held next to the stem. Major PITA tho. I cannot stress enuf, more air circ. needed. If quick action is taken you very well may save her I have saved worse. If you get it drying out after bout a week she will start recovering and the plant will grow a thick scab over this area.

I think he was talking about me cutting her and trying to treat it like a clone. I hopefully won't run into it again, but I will definately keep it in mind. I've wiped all the stems of the other plants with 4TBL H2O2 to a quart of ph'd water, that I had in there and turned up the fan, no one drinks til they are bone dry this week. I wish the plugs were upside down with the tappered end up top, in fact I might do that with the next round and put them in something other than a tray. Thanks for the advice.

No prob. bro I like to turn some of my negative experiences into a positive for others. Did the h202 fizz when applied?
I've used the plugs upside down it does help, but kind of a pita too cuz you have to poke a hole in each plug. did u tie her up?
