A couple of folks suggested we make a sticky out of my tincture tutorial so I contacted the mods. They said to send them the URL of the thread and they'll make it stick. I figured while we are in sticky mode, we may want to make a couple of other threads sticky.

If I can figure out how to make this voting feature work, you can vote for any threads you want to have as stickies. Just in case I can't figure out the voting feature (which seems highly likely at the moment) here are the threads I propose be sticky:

* https://www.rollitup.org/colorado-patients/429721-post-your-pics-no-serious.html
* https://www.rollitup.org/colorado-patients/516556-rare-dankness-grow-report-reviews.html
* 303 Seeds Grow Report and Reviews (to be created)

Any others? I don't think we want to get too crazy with the sticky stick. I've noticed Subcool's section is almost a whole page of stickies, which can be annoying for those of us who frequent RIU from a phone or other small screen device.

Thanks

Thanks for doing this Medshed. My only other idea for a sticky would be a Colorado outdoor growing thread (which is yet to be created), where people show off outdoor tips and get tips on Colorado specific outdoor questions. Other than that, I agree that we don't want a page full of stickies.

I believe that GREAT tincture tutorial should be a sticky for sure. Not to sound too biased, but I also beleive the thread I started on 'Colorado get the vote out this November' should also be a sticky. (yes I voted for it, lol). We are literally at war, and many do not realize the peril we all face.

Mac and CAS - those are both good ideas. I also thought a pollen chuckers thread could be good, since we have a number of chuckers (and wannabes like me) on here.

Keeping with the democracy theme, I think I'll request stickies for the threads that get 50+% of the votes this round (maybe after this weekend) then put up another poll for the new ideas.

Hey Guys - just a little bump and reminder that I'll be closing the vote on Monday. I'll ask for stickies on anything with over 50% of the vote. We can then open another poll for additional stickies. Trueno had a good idea at the BBQ that we should do a sticky on CO MMJ laws. Hopefully they've settled down enough now that we can do a summary and it will be accurate for more than a few months...:wall:

Need a Chef C concentrate or something. He had it down so perfect with the way to make it! Just a thought...

The Colorado Forum should have a moderator from Colorado......

Seems to me that the threads on local seed companies available at local shops would be local sticky material.
Also, the thread with all of the pictures that are local, seems like it should be local.
Its not like this section is locked to only Colorado residents, so everyone will still be able to view.
Since this is a local section mainly visited by locals, Medshed was nice enough to ask us what we should be stickies, which of course seems like the most logical way to pick out stickies......

I'm assuming that stickies can be removed as easily as they are added. There is a chance that not everyone with an opinoion on thethe matter has read this thread or voted, although I think the most active members of this section have weighed in. Since I volunteered to figure out how to get stickies on the CO forum, I'll also volunteer to run a poll periodically to clean up the stickies, whether that means adding or removing them. Even though it kind of was my tincture recipe that started this sticky discussion, I really don't feel like I have any skin in the game. I have the tincture recipe so i don't need a sticky for it and won't be offended if the group chooses to remove it.

Hey Ed - I don't think there is a limit on how many stickies we can have. I just did the poll so we could be democratic about it, rather than declaring myself to be the sticky decider (said in my best GW Bush impersonation). I asked the mods to make stickies out of the 2 threads with 51+% of the vote. If they follow through on that request I'll run another poll for additional stickies.
