So 300 dollar power bills have me considering this light for the summer, maybe I can skip the ac! Is the phone app controller necessary? I definitely want the detached ballast, how long is the cord? For a whole cycle with this light would you recommend the 3000 or the 3500? Any other recommendations on features or warnings about the light would be appreciated. Thanks

I bought the new 8 bar model but honestly i think could had be a better buy the new eight bars model from marshydro..significative more number of smd at quite identical Watt and a lil less expensive..without inefficient IR and UV chip( even if I do not know about heatsink, specs says it should be lighter in weight ao maybe worse heat dissipation)
Infos about light are not clear in full china style..lm301B? 301H?(see alibaba specs and so much confusion) Seoul UV or LG? Cree or osram reds?
UV and IR seems really just like gimmick hype
And what about ppfd and par chart? I bought it just after migro "endorsement", amazing light spread and the APP features for UV and IR...Surely all was too much china approach/style and def not enought tech confidence and clear info from the kind support.
I do not want think about aftersale assistance and(most important) i am not so optimistic about efficient after some cycle..i think my CPU DIY of city 1212 will last efficient longer.. Sorry for my eng

Hey guys, anyone have a link to the specific dealer you ordered your light from? I'm looking on alibaba and there's a ton of places selling them. Just want to make sure i order from a reputable supplier. Also anyone in the U.S order one? Hows the delivery time?

For anyone that may be looking to purchase a geekbeast. I just received an e-mail back from them about the light not being available for purchase of their website. They are currently working on updating the geekbeast page so it will be available to buy soon. I asked when the page will be back up and if we could order over the phone. I'll update on here once I get a msg back.

UPDATE: The geekbeast is available for purchase off their site now. I just purchased mine a couple minutes ago. Make sure you use lightgeek as the discount code. It's $220 off their marked price.
