storing seeds

So I just got some seeds,I have heard keep in the fridge in Rice.Do I keep them in the plastic baggies and put in rice.I am gonna keep in a mason jar.Might have to keep for 6 months or so,thanks

if it's just 6 months you could even skip the rice and just put them in the fridge.

shouldn't matter one way or the other is fine as long as they're dry.

its more humid in the fridge. i would use the rice if your were going to put them in the fridge. i may be wrong..

ive only just left them out for a few months

actually it's drier in a fridge as the humidity is extracted by the freezer unit. 6 months is just a nap for weed seeds they can live for years in the fridge.
