Strange (for me) problem

Have developed a strange issue I cannot puzzle out. I recently added two new lights (which were needed) in the center of my room. Used a new type of air flow reflector. all my lights are on air flow. About a week after, I noticed the leaves near the tops, not the tops themselves were starting to yellow just under the new lights. The leaves appeared to be bleaching, as where two leaves were stacked, the yellowing leaf on the bottom was bright green exactly where the top leaf was. This was not a heat burn, as it was not on the tops of the plants but rather about 10 inches below the top. I raised the lights, and started checking.
Soil pH 6.4 across the whole room, temp in problem area 82 F, temp elsewhere in room the same, humidity 45-55 percent, good air circulation. This problem is now spreading downward on the plants, although the tops are all still healthy. Another anomaly is that 2 strains are reacting differently. Critical Kush, which I have never run before, is far worse than the OG I have been running for 12 months now. I would assume due to the cross with Critical Mass that I would have to feed them heavier and have been. Og started to yellow later, but is progressing. Strange yellowing pattern, starting near the tip on the center leaf first and then spreading up the leaf. I have attached a photo, and could really use a hand with thisIMG_0015.jpg IMG_0018.jpg

Hey, thanks for the quick response. Have enclosed a few more pics, sorry about the quality, Ipod. First pic was the best I could do at a whole plant. Second pic is top of worst plant, third is plants on outside of grow (no damage whatsoever). I use water straight from my tap. Our tap water is considered among the best on the planet. I actually dump this water straight into my salt water reef tank straight from the tap to top up tank. TDS 40ppm, pH6.8, chlorine free, and soft. I supplement every feeding with CalMag to compensate for lack of hardness. Also, have been doing this for years in same location and this problem is brand new. It is Definitely worse in the center under the new reflectors, but heat is not the issue, although it definitely is light sensitive. Tried to get a pic of a leaf that was covered, but they have all fallen. Where two leaves were actually touching the bottom leaf had an exact shadow of the top leaf (serrated edges and all) and was absolutely healthy green band in high contrast to the yellow on the rest of the leaf.

Hey again, they are in 5 gallon pots. Promix HP with 10% extra perlite, and pretreated with dolomite at a teaspoon per gallon. I truly don't understand how the light plays into this . but it sure seems to. What are your thoughts about this. With the new lights and reflectors, is it possible that they are that much more efficient that they could speed the plants up enough to cause a deficiency (that was already forming) to be accelerated only under the bright spots. Flaw in this is that the plants are all the same size. Also, outside plants are in perfect health.

Just finished doing that. It's a puzzler for sure. My major fear is that the Critical Kush is most affected, and my next run is ALL critical, and already 3 weeks into veg. Too late to start over, have to run it. Thanks for the help.

I would check for root aphids!
Yes! This seems to be the year of them... last winter was pretty mild, in most places I think, and aphids are ramped. I have them my self.. have been trying to keep my girl going until my nematodes arrive. Have you seen or battled fungus gnats? (though I am not sure that they always go hand in hand)

Cool, thanks. Gonna have to get that in the future... I am going to splurge and get Met 52 to mix with soil for future grows as I am sure that the roots organic soil has them in there...
