Strawberry Cough?

Hey there guys, been a member of this site for about a month and have looked through so many grow journals and different pictures of everyone's great strains and buds. Was wondering if anyone has experience growing Strawberry Cough. I'm about to start my first grow and was thinking of getting these seeds from the Attitude bank, my main reason for wanting this strain is the supposed anti-anxiety effects that it brings(I have extremely bad anxiety)...Any thoughts?

If I had to pass on the Strawberry Cough, I'm thinking of Blue Cheese/Blue Venom/Kushberry as a substitute. (as you can see the blueberry crosses interest me :D)

Any suggestions from experience growers and/or anxiety medicinal users?
Thanks..bphish

I have not grown strawberry cough but i have smoked it. I think it would be a good choice for anti-anxiety. I have not tried the others.

I've done 3 Dutch Passion Feminized Strawberry Cough grows - it does make anxiety disappear. Amazing.

Very little other effect. If you want to be clear headed and not feel the least bit high, and anxiety lessened, then DP feminized SC is for you. Tastes like shit too, bad chemical taste. I could have gotten a bad pheno.

Check out Big Bang by Greenhouse and Jillybean by TGA as alternatives. OGraskal at Pot Pimp may have a similiar strain, he does a lot of clone only.

Strawberry Cough is a sweet-flavored indoor variety with just enough indica influence to shorten the typically slow growing time of the semitropical sativa into a 2 month flowering cycle. The creamy berry taste combines with its expansive smoke to deliver a variety worty of its name.

Strawberry Cough gardens efficiently whether using hydroponics or soil setups. It is too branchy for sea of green, but Dutch Passion recommends planting 15-20 plants per square meter (1-2 plants per square foot). Strawberry Cough likes a boost of nutrients at the beginning of vegetative growth. Although no data was available for outdoor gardens, Strawberry Cough performs terrifically in greenhouses. Strawberry Cough is a plant of happy mediums, growing to a height of around 3 feet indoors or in a greenhouse garden and exhibiting leaves that balance between indica and sativa influences. This multi-branched plant will start delivering ripe colas about 40 days into flowering, and continue with a second wave that finishes at about 65 days. Greenhouse flowering times are typically a week shorter than indoor gardens.

The buds are tight and shaped like narrow pinecones, and may get quite long. This variety's branches are sturdy and support even the weightiest of colas. Strawberry Cough tickles the lungs with her creamy-sweet smoke, whose flavor resembles strawberry, perhaps with a kiwi fruit complement. The buz is heady and active, a classic let's-go-hiking sativa lift that can alleviate depression.

Thanks for the input hobbes, I'm rethinking my decision now and am going to check out the alternatives you listed. The description of what you posted is what I read before and it got me excited, however I am not much a fan of piney buds. I would also like to get high off of it lol which is kind of a let down, any chance the chemical taste could have been caused by a small mistake in nutrients or is that just how the strain is?

Hobbes thank you so much for your suggestion of Jillybean by TGA , ever since seeing a picture of Romulan I wanted a piece of her, then crossed with an Orange Skunk? hells yeah.. This bud looks beautiful in the pictures and the description sounds even better, I believe I have found my lady.

I have 3 Jillybeans in my garden now, other than the great relaxing stone this really gets me: Tastes so much like Dreamcicles you won't believe it!

I've just got to taste this through a vaporizer. I didn't think taste would be important to me but every time I take a hit of Kali Mist or Bubblegum it's a treat. Both would be good for anxiety as well - Kali Mist you'd care about no problems, dreamy and floaty, like an up narcotic; Bubblegum is a euphoric everything-is-great up high. Serious Seeds - sativa up high. TH/BOG will be more indica pheno.

There is but I grew in both hydro and Pro Mix, used General Hydroponics and Fox Farm - both liquid and solubles. I flush most soilles plants and all hydro, then hang/bag/jar (which I find does more than flushing for taste). It could have been the nutes but over 3 grows and a couple plants per grow I think it's the particular pheno I had. Dutch Passion is a good breeder, but may have some quality control problems with their new feminized line and breeding staff, causing hermies and perhaps other effect characteristic changes.

Tall pheno is excellent, up, low anxiety, excellent high. Shorter pheno not too good for me, like a completely different strain.

Personally I get blown off it. I feel stoned.
makes the pain A-go away.....

if you can master how to grow it, it's the sexiest strain I've smoked... bag appeal and taste...

minus this pineapple (tasted like a berry) stuff I had gotten once.. was remarkable.

Strawberry gets the ladies, too ;) ;)

LOL

:joint::joint: and a third:joint:

only two times I've ever smoked Kali Mist, I got headaches and threw up.

I've not had dirt do that to me in years, or strongest crap I've ever had... dunno, I hate that strain, personally.....

BG is hella tastey though, I'll admit that.
If done certain ways
