Stretch correlations?

Whenever I try to search for info about potential correlations between stretch and effects in cannabis (mainly sativa) I only get results on how to prevent it.

I understand why it's disadvantageous, especially for indoor, but I am curious if there's any correlary effects (good or bad) that folks have noticed, or have been documented, with marijuana.

Thank you for your time - TB

I usually let plants stretch on purpose unlike most. I don't see it as a negative, but more of an indication of overall vigor. In my garden, the stretchier, vigorous plants usually produce the best end product overall. To be clear, I'm referring to flower stretch. A plant in veg can behave very differently then when it's in flower, so I try not to judge too much by how it vegges.

Its for one of two reasons bad stretch like cos of lack of light or cos its growing so positive phototrophism and the how much it will stretch is genetic based and auxin based assuming the environment is right of course there is some benefit to a lil stretch indoors if it helps open your canopy a bit it means ul get more light penetration so more yield however too much and plants aint so easy to keep indoors still possible but requires a different approach and more head room and as we all know tall plants are less efficient under lights

I am the same, I like to see a lot of stretch in flower so I get a nice canopy but yet there is as much room as possible for air to move up and out. I am speaking from an outdoor perspective.
