Ah Kushes...lovely,lovely,lovely! A more pertinent question may be "What Indicas are to be avoided" ? as they're all good imo. (Enuf talking about 'em...time for coffee and coughy! :bigjoint:)

Have any of you tried the new 2011 cannibus winner, "Tangerine Dream" from Barney's Farm? I bought 5 femalized seeds from them, about 2 months back. I am dieing to pop these seeds. But I have enough stash for a while now.

Indica? Just pulled this write up
"Growers, too, benefit from a joyful paradox: the flowering time of 70 days is very brief for a sativa-dominant plant, and the yields, of at least 500 grams per square meter, are exceptionally high. Plants grow to a height of about one meter, with strong and substantial side branches able to support their big, dense flowers. With minimum THC levels of 25% and CBD at 1.8%, Tangerine Dream truly lives up to its name, and Barney's Farm has made it real."

Which is everything I like about Indicas; short height/flowering,strength.
But what about the type of high? Anyone smoked her? She's next up on my list if it's not a regular sativa high (which I'm not too keen on)

Just flower that bitch longer and harvest with more amber.

Kind of funny though. This review calls it Sativa Dom. Where as i thought it was Indica DOM. And if it is Sativa DOM, then why only 1 meter tall at average? That is short even for an Indica let alone a Sativa. Can you really trust what you buy today? These plants have been so heavily cross breed that it is about impossible to get a plant that is for sure to be strong Sativa or Indica. Unless you find a remote place on the Earth that humans have not screwed with. Just my Point of view. I like the heavy Indica relaxation. But just because it says 60% sativa does not mean you can not get what you like. I have been growing Nirvanna ICE. They say it finishes in 8-9 weeks. This is about my 5 cycle on clones, and I still finish them at about week 11. And that is with pretty smooth sailing also. I truly think these companies say their breeds will produce earlier, because that is what people want to hear.

Think I'll do that.
I agree. I've never had a plant run true to flowering times stated, in fact why am I/we even reading them when we can have more info from RIU? If any of us saw this plant in full flower we would be putting our money on it being an indica.
Anywaze, I feel a rant brewing, so I better sign out and do some bl$%y work.
(After ordering Tangerine Dream ;-))

mk ultra from thseeds was a lovely lovely plant...

but my question is, why are you limiting your choices to only strains that you can get from the attitude?? you should check out sannies seed shop as they have some of the best fire i've had to date, the cheapest prices and their stealth can't be beat ime..
from sannies herijuana is a super duper knock out indica of the highest calibre... pretty much anything from sannies is kiiller.. you should also look into his killing fields or chocolate rain... holy shit, chocolate rain, lol... that shit is wayyyyy beyond dank for sure..

just wanted to say that as much as i love the attitude and use them often, there are plenty of other kiler legit places out there to order from as well.. :)

mmm I had white widow from a mail order site, nice high, but I was expecting something more pungent smelling. Like sometimes you get weed that smells SO bad that you have to keep it in a mason jar or the whole house smells like weed. One time I got some stuff from a friend, got it home, kept it in the ziplock bag, few hours later my parents came down bitching about me smoking in the house when I didn't. How the hell do you get stuff that smelly?

I have a clone of tangerine dream finishing this weekend as a matter of fact. I got the mother from a pal that gave up on the strain for the disappointing yield but my clone hasnt turned out too bad.

If at all interested I can burn some and review the high for you when she is dry? I was under the impression she was a sativa dominant strain but i never have done the research

vaporizing currently the 2009 indica winner Vanilla Kush. Anything kush will take you for a ride...OG Kush is promising and a will just reiterate the pros on the white widow.

Oh yes please! I've ordered Tangerine Dream, a smoke review would be great. It has quite some THC content claim...b^%$y hope you agree, come the weekend.
(And yeh, Sativa dominant according to their write up)

I just finished up some Tangerine Dream. I'm disappointed so far.

The high on the 2 plants I grew from seeds are all head high. It's ok, but it doesn't give me that make you sit down like you just licked the Hypno-toad from Futurama high I get from a nice kush. The smell is fruity, but more like banana than an orange...I suck at describing smells. And the smell is weak. I didn't even use a carbon filter when I dried them.

The buds have been curing for a month now. They smell better, but not stronger. I guess that could be considered positive or negative depending on how you look at it, but I think it's a negative. The flavor has improved after a month-long cure. It still tastes more sativa than indica to me. Not hazy...more like just regular commercial weed. Not a strong point.

It was a summer grow, though, so I experienced highs in my tent of 85 for an hour or 2 of lights-on, and never got lows below 74. Those temperatures might account for some of the smell and taste issues. However, the plant that's growing now (number 3) has optimal conditions and still is almost odorless. It's kind of a bummer; I like a stinky plant.

Otherwise, it was an uneventful grow. I had no problems with bugs or mold or root rot or anything. So far, I have germinated 3 of the feminized seeds. All 3 sprouted, were female, and didn't show any signs of hermaphroditism. So the genetics seem stable.

I've got 2 fem seeds of the Tangerine Dream left and 3 regular seeds of Nirvana's AK48. My next grow will definitely be the AK48. I liked the 48's flavor, odor, and high better.
