The sativa will need 12/12 so you can sex it. Thats right sex it :hump:. Make sure you put the already sexed indica back under 24/0 so it stays in veg and can be a mother plant. Just copy and paste pics.

If you're growing indoors it shouldn't matter if it is winter or summer outside, except for temperatures (especially temp fluctuation between day and night). Some strains will preflower in veg but that's ok, just let it go until it's as tall as you want it and chuck it outside (or into your flowering room, alternatively you can finish off indoors by changing your lights to 12/12).

There is a few different reasons your plant could have stretched, plants that are root-bound as well as a lack of light and/or nutrients are big reasons for stretch. If there is light getting into your room during the plants dark period that will encourage stretch too. Are you growing in soil or hydroponically? Sativa strains will take longer to sex (most of the time), I was growing a sativa (lemon haze) that took 5 months to flower, and nearly a month just to show signs of sex. The indica dominant strains I am growing now take around 7 weeks to finish and about 2 weeks to show sex (if not showing sex during the veg period). Long skinny leaves = sativa, short fat leaves = indica. Big tall plants = sativa, short squat plants = indica, just a general rule ;)

this is the sativa cross taken clonez alredi so wen it shows thy b rootn. does any1 thnk thy no wat strain this one is its leaves are really flat and dont overlap much but it short and was bushy. im js grown in terazilla common in nz but i mix verviculite, sand and blood n bone slow release npk 6-7-0 then use meta-k and guano 4 flower plus extras. growzilla, nitrozyme plus extras for veg.

Definitely all indica dom's there bro ;) couldnt tell you what strain it is but you know its gotta have some afghan kush or big bud in it somewhere down the line..

cherz man. im just starting off again afta last harvest. had a break. will make a journal of my grow as i go. i use home made co2. if u wana no how its simple and i can see a huge diference. the leaves reach up fwor light more and grow quite a bit faster. https://www.rollitup.org/nutrients/540351-homemade-co2.html. repost this link for others if you like it. i found out from a very eperienced grower. you probly got flash setup. i just got wardrobe and take plant out to flower if not all ready. looking at expanding with a grotent. i can fit 8 9 litre buckets at the moment. half pound easy but need another area. theas a shelf up top i was gona use but thats alredi my clone shelf and need big veg area. i get orders of clones andput gud crop outdoor too at. happy for now though.

i grew lemon haze lasttym. wel i reckon it was. was str8 sativa and took up hepza space but tryd supercropping and got fat nugys. ended up close to 6 ft tall and branches bending over to the ground hahag sold clones of it now popular as here. i also just grafted these 2 plants. i thought if one take longer than the other to flower and mature itl average it out wit a cross of both. i have never done thir b4 but it stil alive and lokz hapy. i took lower stalk ov slow flowern 1 and put faster growing tip on it wrapd it up in coton wool soakd it and taped it as advised by a mate then planted as u would a clone with join just under soil
wil see how it goes
