Stupid question

My plants are about 2 weeks old....1 is extremely small, but has its 1st set of leaves....ones medium sized with 1 set and more growing... And the 3rd has stretched and has 2 sets.

All 3 of them have thin stems....when do the stems start to thicken?

Ive heard ppl veg for 2 weeks sometimes but idk how the plant would possibly support flowers....i planned on vegging 3 weeks and idk if they'll have thick enough stems by then either

If they’re stretching already you don’t have enough light or it’s too high. Don’t worry about the stems as you can bury it when transplanting. Figure out why they’re wispy.
Thanks, I only had a 300 watt light, today I installed a 1000 watt and took the 300 out....and being I suck at trying to adjust lights, I propped the plants up on a tupperware bin so theyre all closer to the light....hopefully ill see some improvements.

Any air low on the plants? You should have some movement in the plants, toughens up the stalk. is that 1000w HID or LED? If HID, I personally don't believe I would put tupperware in my grow area...may put off some toxins. Best of luck to you and yours.

What toxins are gonna come off Tupperware? It's food grade plastic.
