Success Rate Of Newbies

i'd say 15 out of 20 finish their first grow. they may have problems along the way but i see a lot of nice gardens.

at least the people i know from outside roll it up fail cause all they care about is smoking the plant not taking care of it

im a noob. .my first attempt threw me a male. my second now, i have 2 females just starting to flower. :) its all a learning experience so what i dont know, i learn.

first grow, I never took her all the way, second I had 1 boy and a hermie, but started flowering with shitty lights and hid it in the basement away from my wifes sister. nothing good came from either. third times the charm I suppose, but now I think we got it down and know what we shouldnt do next time, so, now we've got our third plant looking beautiful and close to harvest. next time, I expect to do twice as well at least, because we took care of her, but she took her lumps too. you know, a real street girl ;) got that ghetto buddy

:joint:hey,.first timer here. Planted 2 seeds i got out of an eight 2 months ago. They both grew nicely, first in some kmart bought miracle grow (lots of nute burn probs) then transferred after one month to fox farms (really took off at this point). Started off with some pretty weak flourescents, just 2 plugged into standard lamps. After one month, when i upgraded soils, i also added a cheap (60 bucks) 70 watt HPS from LOWES. Wow, like i said, after the first month with some cheap simple upgrades, they really started going. Today, after about,...61 days, im on the 10th day of the 12/12 cycle. After countless trips to check "for the 2 little white hairs" I spotted it. At the top of one of my colas (both plants are topped, but its on one node, of one plant) i found i little pear shaped thing with 2 little white hairs. Im sooo happy today. I assume the other plant is a female, since males show first typically, so if it was gonna have balls,..it would by now. So 2 plants,...1st timer,....with purple kush seeds,...and at least one is a girl (i believe) ,...somewhat a success so far,..so dont burst our bubbles man!

What's not understandable? I can explain if you would like. Sorry u had too much pride to call urself a newbie when u were one. And congrats on the grows

just finished my first grow....just seeds i got from some random 8ths...but i had 4 girls outside and did great...about 6 ounces and i cant say i did alot of work...totaly organic, just let the sun and rain do its job...maybe thats not a good thing, but hey it worked!

Well my first grow is going pretty well i suppose :D

I think the success rate on here is allot higher due to all the information just flying around everywhere...if you got a problem, question or just curious about it i can guarantee you if you search the forums you will find it & if not make a thread asking and you will get feedback.

This forum has taught me 70% of what i know...the other 30% is either general knowledge or stuff i have read on other sites because i get impatient and obviously this is a forum not a search engine, gotta wait till people come online :D
