No your wrong they won't grow vertically in 7 days roots need to establish themselves 7 days is not enough time shit 16 days is not enough time unless u use an aeroponic cloner ..I asked you to repeat your questions you didn't ....it's dumb to ask a question about something completely different in a thread about cloning ....you are wrong brother that's why when I first told you it doesn't matter how far the light is during cloning u said on well I was told different I hope you guys are right...that tells me you were taking about cloning not vegging. and no you idiot by day 16 also not growing vertically. ..by that time the plug is usually put into a red cup....then the roots fill up the cup before it even thinks of growing. .and you should read and study and not spread false confusing Info on noob central. ...your so noob that your placing cloning and vegging in the same category ..maybe your really good at cloning but your to noob to know when they are cloned so you leave them longer then u need to so they start to veg on you....I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. The only lie here is your name and your inventing scenerios. Almost all of MY contributions here have been in the form of questions...you decided to make them statements to suit your need invent your responses... probably in an effort to overcome a small bird size dick. I suggest YOU refrain from leaving your bird shit in the newbie section because your attitude and intelligence is obviously nutrient deficient.

In other news....the ladies are doing great! I need to fire the cloner back up, but I think I might have learned my lesson about posting tutorials.

I just use a simple jiffy heat mat with a dome over and it takes about two weeks.. with rooting powder and some nice music to get them in the mood to root

I was waiting for the comparison pictures, but I haven't seen them yet....anyways, here's how mine are doing and I think the leaves and stems are fine. Obviously, once out of the cloner and having sufficient leaf and root systems to really benefit from the light, they go on top of a milk crate and are at the usual 8-16" distance....but if you were talking, let's say a single t5 bulb in a home-made ballast, then yes drop it right on top of them. I don't know the distance my 6 bulb unit is rated at, but results say 2-3ft is ok for clones.
