Hey everyone. Newbie here and looking for some sound advice on training and yields for outdoor. 3 blue dream babies almost 4 weeks into veg and already topped. What is the most effective training methods for outdoors?? 
Suggestions on training and yield.

I did years ago. I went with fox farm ocean blend in 3 gallon pots then transferred over to a 100 gallon blend of peat moss, perlite, compost and top soil. I water with pond water and grow big by fox farm. Anything you would change?

Since you already topped, I say run with it. Most training techniques done to indoor grows are due to limitations of space and growing under lights.
Outside, the sky's the limit.
I've seen some extremely massive plants grown outdoors, no training at all.

Hey I'm always looking for suggestions from experience. I actually ordered 2 Electric Sky 300 watts to start a 7x7 tent indoors. So far I am thinking either scrog or a sog set up. Whichever would yield better.

So you've done one grow total
Focus on your plants survival...not yield, not SCROG, not a 7x7 space
Then

Thanks alot. I've heard alot of horror stories about mites, spiders, disease. Anything major I should be focusing on as far as problems with plants inside I should be aware of besides pests?

Suggestion? Only grow in 4x5 of that tent. You have less than half the light you'll want for flowering a 7x7. You want around 1470W to fill that tent. 30W sq ft with decent LED for flower. You can get away with a lot less in veg, but flower is where it counts.

You can do nothing or you can do everything. Me outdoors I don't really do anything other than feed and the normal preventive stuff when they get about waist high I'll stretch the mains down and out. Just remember to support them in flowering and don't let pm/bugs take over

Thanks. Appreciate the input and planned on only using 4x5 for flowering so that should be perfect hopefully. Adding another light as well in the near future.

It's not necessary to top outdoor plants at all, with most strains there is no advantage regarding yield.
There are exceptions but with most strains when grown outdoor you are simply changing from producing fewer larger colas, to a greater number of smaller colas, the yield in the end is unchanged.
It is sometimes advantageous to top and or train to take better advantage of your growing space. But, it's not like indoors where you are trying to get all your plants to be the same height, or spread them out for better light distribution. The sun is far less directional, the sun moves around and its light is more evenly dispersed, which means there is no compelling reason to top outdoors unless it is to allow plants to fit a space better.
That's my opinion anyway.
