You see in the pic i do my clones 3rd day after planting...but you still can do it....i use cut&bent rubber coated coat hangers as anchors...works great

When i fim i use T-Stat wire,just screw some 1/4" hexhead screws around pot then backem out just a little,this allows you to tie off.Then cut some strands from the wire.Where i put on the plant I use some Armaflex the stuff tht wraps your coppper pipes,To prevent cutting stems.
