I bought 3 Bales for my next grow and really don't know too muh about it :-( I know poor planning. So does anyone like this stuff and what can you tell me about it?

For example do I add perlite? Good pH? Add lime? Anyone have luck? Can I transplant from hydroton to this? Best nutes to use? Tips, tricks, hints?

Treat this as hydro for pH of 5.8 or soil pH of 6.8?
I've noticed a good amount of you RIU'ers talk outta ur ass with little to no knowledge of marijuana cultivation and horticulture in general so please anyone with good advice give me a helping hand as you would want the same!

If your so worried about RIUers talking out of their ass, why don't you use google or the search feature to find your answers.

I did both. Call me crazy but my technique for growing is to get as much imput and suggestions as I can and make an educated desicion based on my research.

well 3 mins on google and I found the answers so I guess you need to do more researching.

Thank you but I've already got all the info I could off google and the grow bible. I was looking for more of a person to person summary of their expeirence using s.s. Mix#4. All the Internet research ive done has given me contradicting information. But still usefull

Lol ok pasta I would just like some other growers 2 cents on this soilless mix. If you'd like to give me your opinion on S.S. Mix #4 then fantastic. If not then that's fine too but contradicting info or not I think you're missing the point of this post.
