Well, I cant find Fox Farm Ocean Forest. I also refuse to buy MG organic because it is horrible and I had a bad experience with MG. So I bought this instead because it seemed promising and I know Sunshine mix number 4 is decent. Has anyone had experience with this soil?

i have currently started to use mix #4. Need to point out one thing...it is soilLESS not soil...just peastmoss perilite gypsum dolitic lime. Ffof has much more in it..and i believe as i read somewhere on here the other day that FFOF comes out of the bag at something like 1200ppm. There are no nutes in mix #4...this gives you total control over what you feed your plant. It is also easier to flush salts out of mic #4. Imo you should have a good fertilizer line b4 going with mix #4...thats just my opinon tho. Even though jorge cervantes says a beginer should use a soiLESS mix...i think its better left to someone with some grows uner thier belt....either way to answer your ?....yes its a professinal mix...it is very good and highly used by many.

This is the third grow that I just started. My first one was horrible and my second grow was a little bit better. Is there anything I should mix in with the soil? I bought it because it seemed very light and airy. Also, what nuts should I use? I'm growing diesel rider autos so only have to give them a little bit of vegging nutes. I only have Wal-Mart and Lowes to work with here.

I use this same soil. My local nursery carries it in stock all the time. But yeah, once I started using this brand of soil, my plants love it.

It's just an overall good soil for growing cannabis. It's light but not too light.. holds/drains water very well too. It's one of my favorite

brands to use for cannabis.

Good pick!

Good to hear I knew I would eventually find a decent soil that I can buy locally. My local nursery also carries it in stock at all time.
