Super Lemon Haze stem deformation/mutation

I started 10, Super Lemon Haze feminized plants from GH seeds in late March with plans of only using my closet set-up to get them to a suitable size for transplanting in late April. The 200w cfl with a brightwings reflector, plus, a homemade inverted surge protector with 6, 6500k bulbs gave me more than adequate light to get them up and running.
I transplanted all but 1 of them in my grow spot in late April only to have what has been described as a "5000-8000 year flood" of over 13" of rain to destroy all but 2 of them as I was finally able to go check on them after the water receeded. Either through smart planning or, just plain luck I had kept the best looking of the 10 as I had plans of cloning a few and setting them out a little later. I found the SLH to be a little tough to get cuttings to survive, but managed to get 5 good plants going that I now have under a 400w HPS.
One of these plants has been a odd-bird from the get go. At a little over 2' tall it has a stem that is flattened and very strange looking. The plant was topped at 1 month old but I don't think it is related to the growth habit. I've been growing for many years and have never seen anything similar to this. Anyone seen anything like this? Not necessarily worried about this plant but just thought it a little odd as it is otherwise growing vigorously with no problems. The 3rd pic shows the deformation the best and the "flattening" starts at about 12" and continues all the way to the top.

Yes I think these will do quite well within my limited indoor set up but I do have a few concerns about how tall they may get and, I am considering more topping even though they are in the early stages of the 12/12 photoperiod at the moment. Since they are a sativa-dominant strain they may try to hit the 8' mark if allowed to run wild and I simply don't have the room for that.
Also think I will add my 2, CFL reflectors to the mix either as top or side lights to help lower buds to develop. I even thought about sacrificing 1 or 2 of the plants to provide more room and increase ambient light for the 3 others increasing bud size. That would be a difficult thing to bring myself to do as this is supposedly very good genetics and I have 5, verified, very naughty girls that are thriving at the moment. I just don't want a shitload of "popcorn buds". Room is L 7' x W 4' x H 8' so things might get cramped very soon. Anyone have opinions on that as well?
