So I started off with 10 seeds. 9 germinated and I killed 7 of the nine because I'm a fuck up and I left them out in the sun all day.. but 2 are still alive and well.

Each plant has 50 litres of organic potting soil I bought at a local gardening shop for dirt cheap. Haha get it... :)

I mixed in a load of perlite into the soil for better oxygen to the roots.

I'd say these ladies (hopefully) are around a month old give or take a week.

I think flowering starts around mid July in these parts so these plants will most likely be a pretty good yield if they are female. They haven't shown sex yet. My region is southern Ontario and The flowering time is 8-9 weeks on this strain so hopefully the buds wont be too immature. These ladies are getting a good 8 hours of direct sun a day easy and are loving it. They have been given nutrients twice so far once at 1 quarter strength and once at almost full strength. looks like sunny weather ahead so should be good.

Has anyone had any trouble with pests like bugs dear rabbits etc?

Any ontario growers gimme a shout and lemme know what you guys think.

Oh ya and the latest pics of the plants are one second videos because I'm blazed like that so hope no one minds.

I will be posting weekly pics so stay tuned.

Plants are looking much taller, have a great amount of water and have been fed nutes twice. They both are experiencing a degree of tiny yellow holes in the leaves and a few larger holes as you can see in some of my pictures. One of them has tilted a bit to the side so I need to stake her up. What does everyone think? Also I'm thinking of spraying insecticidal soap on them.

Try Scoot u can buy it at tsc stores and it keeps away deer, mice, rabbits etc. As far as the little holes in the leaves, probably just bugs of some sort...I wouldn't get too concerned!

These 2 plants are loving the sun, water and nutes they are getting and have not started flowering but are over 5 foot 6 inches and will continue to grow.

Does anyone know when plants usually start flowering outdoors in Ontario??
Stems are looking thick leaves are green except for a few small ones near the bottom of the stem. Cant wait till flowering starts!! let me know what you think.

I am in Southern Ontario as well. Those are lookin good! The stem is a great size on em. You should get a half p minimum from the stem shot plant in your third picture. How often do you water them? Are they in the shade mostly, or in the sunlight mostly? Given them any nutes?

I believe that plants can start flowering in Ontario anytime between 2 weeks ago and up to another 2-4 weeks from now. Most likely your plants wil officially begin their flowering stage sometime between NOW and the next 2/3 weeks. Most likely no later than the first week of August.

Thanks man I'm so suprised these girls (hopefully) have grown so well especially since this is my first grow. I live around 10 minutes away from my plants so I can water them every 3 days, never more then 5 days. Around here we've been having sun for 3 or 4 days straight then rain right when the plants would need it so they are getting plenty of water. I have fed nutes to them 3 times already first at 1\2 strength second at 3\4 third at full and they seem to be loving it. As soon as white hairs develop (PLEASE GOD!!) I will start feeding the plants a nutrient solution with an NPK of 1-54-1. I will start at a low dose but will gradually raise the does... I will do this every 3 waterings or so. I want some big dank lemon bang buds from this grow and I think that those nutes are my best bet. I also have access to some 15-35-15 NPK nutes for flowering plants. (shultz bloom booster and plant prod: flowering plant. I really hope my plants have enough time to mature as the flowering time is 8-10 weeks and that's really pushing it if it doesn't start flowering soon. :O

They get around 8 hours of sun mostly direct.. One of em is getting it`s lower stalk nibbled on but I cleared that up with some insecticidal soap and they have been topped twice one has topping on lower branches for bushiness.

once a plant begins to flower does that mean it will no longer grow in size? it will put all its energy into budz? Say a plant is 3 feet , it starts floweering. it wont exceed three feet because it puts energy into buds? or does it still grow bigger whilst in flower mode??

Whats goin on Ganga lovers, spacem4ncan your plants are lookin great! my girls and i are livin north of t. just about an hour or so, its my first outdoor grow aswell. I got clones of Jack Herer and blue truck, 6 of each i was told. i've got 2 grows relatively close together with 6 at each, I planted into the ground on may 28th an 29th so were lookin at 2 months in just a few days I have'nt added nutes since week one outside, just decided to let them grow. Probably a reason why they're not close to your babies sizes. Just in the last week 2 of 6 at one location and 4 of 6 at the other sprouted lotss of white hairs ! Are you going organic the whole way through? and should i start to use some type of organic nutes now if i wanna get a nice big yield in buddinng!!?

I wouldn't worry about the time needed for flowering; you will be just fine. With 8-10 weeks, even if they begin their flowering at the start of August they will still finish by early October. As long as they finish before early November you should be just fine. . . last year we didn't have any frost until the second week of november, but the year prior we had frost already the 2nd or 3rd week of October. Every year is different, but you'll be fine regardless.

I have learned over the years through personal experiment, as well as through books and magazines which I have read (From Medical Marijuana Grower's Bible to your basic High Times Magazines), and other grower's experiences, that this is actually an extremely simple element to calculate in an indoors setting, however outdoors is a little more unpredictable. . .

For Indoor Grows:

As your plants are in a 100% perfect and controlled environment, they will have the most optimum opportunity to grow consistently from one plant to another, and from one generation to another - of course this all depends on the genetics which you are after, however this is a whole other discussion. From the moment you reduce your plants lighting cycle from a 18/6 setting to a 12/12 setting you can expect that your plants will actually begin to grow and stretch much faster than they had previously. You can expect that your plant will grow THREE (3) TIMES (x), again, 3x, taller in height if left un-topped, unFIM'd, and untied.

For Example:

Plant was 1 foot tall at the beginning of flower - Plant was 3 feet tall when harvested.

Plant was 2.5 feet tall at the beginning of flower - Plant was 7.5 feet tall when harvested.

For Outdoors:

It will be fairly close to the indoors growth parameters. It could be more or less depending on the amount/frequency of watering, amount of space for root development, amount of direct sunlight exposure, type of soil and topsoil, depth of soil and topsoil, temperatures, etc. You should be able to make your own estimations based on your understanding of the quality of these elements.

Plants usually start flowering in Ontario in August (1st or 2nd week). Whoever said in mid-July was way off base, especially since you are growing a variety of "haze." I had some Arjan Haze #3 outside last year and boy was that a mistake. Didn't start flowering until late August, and finished (after I brought them inside) in November.

I also just grew some SLH inside and it had some very different phenotypes with very different finishing times. If you have the sativa leaning pheno, it'll go 11 or 12 weeks to finish. The indica pheno about 8 weeks.

In the future for you outdoor grows, try and get something more indica dominant as the sativa dominant plants take too long for our Ontario grow season. Good luck.

So basically if it has enough room and proper conditions to do so it will more than double in height from start of flower to harvest?

Hey , I found this grow real awesome, I'm following you :) , just one notice, could you tag your pics, i mean, we people can't tell the difference if it's lemon haze or big bang :), I'm growing Big Bang myself, but i'm not from the USA, but your plants look real nice

Yes sir, doubling in height is inevitable and a 100% guarantee with optimum conditions, however I would say triple is more likely, unless of course you are topping, bending, FIMing, etc as it will result in the plants growth hormones being sent to different lower lying branches.

I just got back from camping for the past 4/5 days, it was great to be on the beach all that time lol, so my apologies for the delayed response.

Lucky i wish iwas at the beach lol . And no worries bout the delay,,,,,so i have a couple cheese plants that are about 1 feet tall just under. None are even showing sex signs yet, and shouldnt they be flowering by now its like AUG 10th. I dont see how they are going to finisH? and i thought it only started flowering when light cycle changes, so wouldnt they be flowering by now no matter how Big/old they are??
