Super sized CFL monster

what are the lumens and were can i get some?????
I believe the advertised output is 15000. Interested note, i measured how many amps these draw and the four together only drew 4 amps @ 110 volts which works out to only 440 watts for all four bulbs. I will be testing 2 of these fixtures with a total of 8 bulbs and a total of 880 watts to do a true comparison between these and 1000 watt HPS. Our goal is to yield 2+ pounds. I think it's going to perform well as the light distribution is very even through out our grow area. As to were to get them, my friend works for the distributor. You can order them through him at [email protected] they also have some very new CFL's that are very efficient and use a standard lamp base. These are called Parmax Rosebud CFL's, they are 105 watts but light output is 30% higher than conventional spiral and U type cfls'. The theory is the shape of the bulbs have wider gaps between the tubes allowing more light to shine through the inner core of the bulb were as the spirals and u's light is trapped in the inner core of the tubes. Check out the photo.

By the way, see how your bulb uses a standard lamp base socket? the maximum wattage rating for the E26 lamp base socket is 100 watts, no lamp manufacturer will build any bulb in this size base over 100 watts
Please don't call me a liar in my own post, what would I have to gain by lying, Im just trying to share knowlege.

Sorry man i wasn't calling you a liar just making points to look for so others don't get burned too
1. I didnt get burned
2. Do your research, the largest spiral cfl's are NOT 80w, obviously, because I have one larger than that.

I appreciate your atributions about U type and the new Parmax cfl's.
BTW..What is the equivialnt wattage of those 250w utype's?

I think maybe he meant "the largest I am aware of" but said "the largest there is" because it's like, the internet and everything, you know.

I have 85w spirals in standard fittings, I can buy larger. For anything over 150w however I go e40 since you need a stronger socket for the weight.
