Super Stealth Speaker Box Bulid

the blue leds will be a problem during flowering mate. has to be 100% dark during the night cycle of 12/12, also if its a pc case theres no need for that 250mm thats a LOT of air movement, if you had a box around 3' by 3' id suggest that but you could easily get away with either a 120mm for air movement and 2x 80mm for ventilation. thats what im doing and my box is about 2' by 2' lil under nut that 120mm fan is a great choice!

also you can wire the fans in parallel like i did, they only use about 3volts at any given time, so you could have all 3 wired to one plug

Oh great, I was worried there wouldn't be enough air movement :eyesmoke:
So I'll just block up that 250 probably. I hadn't thought of wiring them all to one plug, but if you say it works then that's great!
Cheers again for the help!

(I was planning on removing the leds anyway)

it depends on how much amps your fans consume. i'm running 5 fans on a single 12v 1A charger..

I wouldn't be able to use that in a standard phone charger? I don't mind buying one, just would like to know if I need to.

it will work as long as your phone charger is 8-14v.. usually they are 12v which is great.. and 0.12A means that if your phone charger provides 1A, you can add 8 fans like this one.

so let's say i hd the same charger as you, I could run two of my fans on it? Thanks for the help!

update time, been hard at work trying to finish this frame. have to do each leg at a time in order to make sure there perfectly aligned. anyway you can see the speakers ill be using and where they will be positioned.

i did how ever run into a problem, my plan to light proof the fans has failed. the pvc pipe takes up so much room it just wouldnt be in my best intrest to go this route. :wall:

so how do you guys think i should block light from entering / exiting the box from the fans?

You can my a L shaped vent out of wood for your fan and line the inside of it with a black no glossy cloth

thats along the lines of what ill be doing maybe a tad smaller. but ill just spray paint everything black. im not sure if ill add a cloth or not just because itll reduce airflow but i might if i still have light leaks.

go so the frame is done :-P now just need to trim the walls to the correct size, along with taking out the speaker holes and ventilation. now im not sure if im just over thinking things or my basic carpenter skills aren't functional. but the way i have the hinges set up and the way the box is built... would i be able to open the box..? with the hinges i just feel that they would be blocked or something. i don't know i think im just stupid or maybe to stoned :bigjoint:

which way you guys think will work best? also if anyone has any answers to my question please let me know
