Supercropping

Hey im a new grower and was wondering about the yeild increase caused by supercropping. I know alot of the yeild is based on genetics and lights, but how much will supercropping actually benefit me, and how much more potency will can i expect to gain?:leaf:

ive tried it and personally I just leave my plants alone besides some trimming. if you want to do something worth while, lollipop your plant(s)

in my opinion super cropping is be for the outdoor growers. I think LST, tying your plants down, is best for indoor growers because you achieve similar results without slowing growth. In fact it promotes growth. Also, good ole topping is fabulous.

I just supercropped my sativas in my closet grow to keep them shorter. It made the stems grow much thicker compared to ones I didn't super crop and from my experience fatter stems means more buds so seems like yeild should increase. Ill find outt once I harvest. Their getting switched to 12/12 tmrw.

Supercropping is a growers technique and does not necessarrily mean more yeild but is a means to control the growth of your plants. I do it during stretch to control the stretch.

My small plants get topped and LST'd from small babies, then Scrogged for flowering and supercropped for stretch. Lollypopped after seeing which branches will not make it to the top of canopy.

A more even canopy can mean a bigger yeild, so to some degree yes supercropping can increase yeild but only as part of it's contribution to a more ideal environment that you have created as a grower. ie it wont make up for poor growing, only compliment a good grow. Scroggsy.

ty everyone for the input, and it all makes sense now! LOL anyway, my first indoor will be supercropped and the next will be tied and topped. it seems that the most important thing for increasing yeild is mainenance of the canopy.

thanks to everyone

The most important things are the environment they live in, second most important things are efficiency of space and lighting to achieve canopy. Despite even these things though strain is king when it comes to your harvest. Some strains/phenos are just crap and there is nothing you can do to change that so makesure you get a really good one. Scroggsy.
