so you chopped at 9 weeks of flower, right? i have found most supergirl grows to be harvested 8-9 weeks, but you say you would have liked to let them go another week or 2? I am curious b/c I started flushing mine at 6.5 weeks- now at 7 weeks. my first time w/ SG.
i still have a lot to learn about this part!!! i chopped my girls in the 9th week of being 12/12. but after doing some reading, i believe flowering doesn't start until the plants start to show flowers. and my girls didn't really show any flowers for the first 10 days or more. so looking at it that way, i actually chopped during the 7th week of flower and probably didn't get as much yield as i could have. who knows??????

but with that being said, this shit is curing very nicely!!! i cracked my jars for a while this afternoon and my wife said she could smell the bud on the other side of the house!! the bud is really shrinking in my jars so i'm sure it's lost some more weight. but this is definitely the best crop in my short growhistory because it's some real sticky stanky bud. it's unbelievable all this came from 1 seed!:eyesmoke:

look at the roots on this supergirl clone! think i took the cutting only about a week prior to pic. i wasn't expecting to see roots yet........had to transfer to bucket. i kinda like this strain and i need a new mother plant.

i also have a citral seedling that i need to determine the sex. only one of the two citrals made it so i'm praying that this one is female. this one stretched cause i was waiting to see if the other would live. hopefully, can grow this one out and take cuttings which i'll put into flower to determine sex. this is my first time doing this so i may need some assistance for this process. can i put the cuttings straight into flower once i have roots?

edit: rooted clone pic taken 10 days after being cut

Hell yeah.. I am jealous of your clones!! I have been cloning supergirl, well 3rd gen now, and it seems to take 4 ever to root... 4-5 days longer than the ppp I have.

I am still learning, and must be doing something wrong, b/c they always seem to struggle, but eventually kick in to gear. You obviously have it nailed. Do you use distilled H2O? humidity dome?

And the last round, I put them into 12/12 3-4 days after I potted them. they are 3-4 weeks in now(on left in pic), and still grew 18-24 inches high. I like to top(or FIM) the SG as she likes to stretch for the HPS.

I just chopped my first SG's today at 55 days of 12/12. looks exactly like yours, and stinkith she does indeed.

and another note about superslut- I had one seedling about die, and brought her back to life(took 4ever) as an experiment, then she dried up and about died again. So I revived her again, put her in 12/12, and she did not hermie. I heard some say this strain is prone to hermie when stressed.... not in my experience.

your girls are looking good. the ones on the left are a little thinner and taller, but those girls on the right are lush as hell! r u doing a perpetual grow?? how much time between harvests?

my supergirl clone is 4th gen from seed.........and seems to be still cloning nicely.

i use ro water when cloning and germing (tap water when growing). i use a humidity dome for about the 1st seven days. then i remove it for about three days before transplanting. u gotta remember to keep water in your trays once the dome is removed because in my grow room the water evaporates really fast.

the plants on the left are 4 weeks behind the lush girls. I have chopped 2 of the 5 plants on the right, monday will harvest the rest and bring in my clones.

The plants being harvested now were from seed, and are in 8 inch pots. I am gradually raising the number of plants and using smaller pots. I have 11 clones going in next. If they grew as healthy as yours, they would be 8-9 inches, but they are still pretty small(3-5").

I am trying get harvest every 4 weeks. I took my last set of clones after the plants were in 12/12 for about 1.5 weeks. That would give them 2.5 weeks before going in. I am attempting to not have "mums"

I believe my tap water is the main cause for pain to my clones. Where do you get your RO water?

Also, I've only had success cloning SG is with Distilled water. I buy it at Kmart $1 per gallon. I don't have RO and my tap blows.

good shit, zigzag!! ultimately, i'd like to harvest every 4 weeks as well. but i have a ways to go before i get to that point. and i'd like to be harvesting different strains as well so i don't burnout on one kind of bud.

i also went down to smaller pots in a homemade tub thinking i would be able to just harvest more but smaller plants. i'm not so sure about this now because i have one plant that's taking over the whole tub and blocking lite from the others. (1st pic shows six site tub with only 3 plants growing) they're in their 3rd week and were put into 12/12 when they were only 4-6 inches tall. i think i'll need to look into sog/scrog to try to get a level canopy. another thing is that one of the plants died in the tub and kinda caused all the others to freak out during the process. still some dying root matter in the rez. (2nd pic)

i haven't had good luck cloning after i've put my babies into flower. i took a clone from the biggest plant in my tub before i put them into 12/12 and i guess i'll try to make it a mother plant. it's looking pretty healthy for only about 3-4 weeks! (3rd pic)

as for the water.........i have a ro unit under my kitchen sink that i'll fill up a couple of gallon jugs to have for cloning/germing or for foliar sprays. the ro unit that i have doesn't have enough output for me to try to fill my rez for my tub or even to try to fill my 5 gal dwc buckets. i'm looking into getting one that i can get at least 20 - 30 gallons at a time.

:peace:
