supper cropping?

I've seen a few videos on how to do it but I wanna know when I can do it? Some vids say bigger bud is the outcome but don't do it on a flowering plant? Why is this? And is this something I can do without harm during flower?(already did, just wondering if I shouldn't have!)
Thanks for any replys!!

Oh my..yeah, the reason for that is that it stresses the plant, out and you want to stress tye plant out as little as possible. Hope your plant dont hermy or nothing. Also, what exactly do you mean by "supercropping" the term gets used loosly, i am assuming you mean topping the plant, which is a huge no no during flowering. Monumental mistiake if you did that...

@ phil ...I thought super cropping was bending and pinching.
If this is what you talking about it doesn't make the buds bigger. What it does is slow the growth of the branch upward and promote growth just below the bend or pinch. This result in less vertical growth and you get a shorter bushier plant. You wouldn't want to do it in flower (unless you were running out of vertical space and really needed to) because it will slow bud growth above the bend and like phil said cause unwanted stress which may result in a hermi.

i have done it before and the branch's for the most part recovered fully... be sure to tie them down once they have been cropped...at least from my experience and they didn't hermi either...
