Supplemental light

Hi all. I have a meizhi 1200 (too cheap to pass up). Now I realize that the spectrum is overly blue heavy. Could I supplement with either 3000k strips or cobs? Or with 660nm red light?

You can supplement with red lighting along the sides. But you might be rather surprised at what that light could produce on it's own. What is the size of your grow area/tent?

Do you want to have plants covering "corner to corner" in that 4x4?

You most certainly can supplement with red spectrum. In fact, I'd recommend it for the flowering phase if your light really is too heavy on the blue end of the spectrum and not heavy enough in the red end.

You can do the entire grow under that light just like some grow under MH all the way.
