Sweet fast bud autoflowering

i was thinking about useing a 4 foot long cfl that i have i was just going to get a biger watt tudes for it

the tubes that are in it now are 40 watt cool tubes

those work great for vegging and seedlings but they will never get you the nice tight bud formations you want. they will produce an airy, fluffy type bud with not as many trichomes or resin glands. if you go with the 600w hps you will get fat tight nugs with a lot more trichs and resin glands. light is the single most important aspect in a grow imo. its the fuel that feeds the fire so to speak.

would a 400 hps work as well cause i will only be growing 1 or 2 plants at a time

sure, if you are only doing 2 at a time a 250w hps might better suit you. but why the wasted space? if you are going to do it do it right and fill that space up.

i am going to go with a 600 watt hps do i need to get a mh bulb as well

no that wont be necessary. might i suggest the quantum 600w ballast or the lumatek 600w ballast. id personally go with the quantum. but be aware if you go this route cooling and proper ventilation will need to be addressed.

i was going to cut a hole in the side of the grow room and put a vent in it like a 4in hole and 1 small fan

will that one work as well

hey whats up.... if your only doing two plants then disregard the cloning or its not worth doing comment. Im with whoever said you should fill the space tho and do a sea of green or look into SCReen Of Green(scrog). This way you are maximizing the canopy which is where most of magic happens. Also lolli-popping. basically you trim off the lower branches that wouldn't produce very much anyway. In doing so you give that extra energy to the branches that do get more light and also increase air flow through the base of the plants and minimize the chance of small bugs and stuff.

Check out youtube for a lot of videos. Look up that scrog. Mr green has a great grow video, Jorge Cervantes, the guys at THSeeds all have good ones. IF you take a tidbit from each you will be far ahead of the curve
