Sweet Tooth closet grow,2 400w HPS

Day 10 after chopping the sweet tooth
Most of the buds have been in paper bags for a couple of days now and I just now got around to trimming the rest.I jarred them up tonight to start the curing process.I weighed most of the sweet tooth(a lot of the BS undergrowth I'm just throwing it in with the next batch of trimmings so I didn't weigh that,I haden't trimmed it anyway so it wouldn't have been acurate if I did)and it came in at just over 10oz.If I get another couple from the Orange Kush that would really be awesome.
Some pics from trimming,a couple showing some dry buds and of course the last one showing some shit I'm smoking on(picked it up today),gotta love those purple strains.

I'm begining to really like this plant and I haven't even smoked it yet!
The buds are much more dense than the sweet tooth and it is super sticky!Of course I don't have to tell you as you will be trying them both anyway.But yeah,this plant might be a keeper after all.

I've already dipped into the sweet tooth,smoked it with some of the hash I made and all I can say is the name is very appropriate.I still can't put my finger on what it tastes/smells like but it's a VERY sweet taste,almost like grape-pineapple fruity pebbles if there were such a thing.

I saved both but did seperate runs,the fans produced a lot of 20 micron hash,while the fine trim got a lot of 75 micron hash.
I just noticed that pic looks like I'm handing somebody a rose or something.Lol funny stuff!

I started the fine trim friday night (7 days after hanging them) and didn't finish untill sunday lol.I guess I should've posted that in an update,but I was so busy last weekend I forgot to.
The sweet tooth is looking great,very fluffy buds though.I'm upgrading to either a 1000w HPS or 300w LED,I'm tired of all this fluff.
I just took the fans off of the Orange Kush and hung it back up.
I took a pic of the Sweet Tooth yesterday while letting it air out.

what are the bloom room dimensions? please consider 2x 600w hps! i know youd rock it out!

I haven't decided how big I'll make it yet,but I have an extra room it's 8.5X11.5 or so that I can do want I want with.It is the closet to this room that I flowered in this run,next run the closet is for veg and the room for flower.I'm gonna make walls out of cardboard or something that's easy to put up/take down.It'll probably be 6X6' area that I use to flower.
I actually would consider two 600s since they are the most efficient,but I'm looking for penetration and huge buds.
Two 600 HPS in a Adjust-a-wing would be sick though.

I'm a bit surprised that you got fluffy buds from the sweet tooth. I got pretty solid buds from that plant. But then again, I was using a 600 watt light....

I mean, it doesn't produce rock hard nugs like the Trainwreck (GH seeds) I grew, but still respectable.

on my thread i framed a veg closet out of 2x4, and wrapped it in black white growing tarp. in the front you can stick a tarp sticker infront of it! if you can i'd go 8'x4'.
my bloom room is 4x4x6 with one 600, i was planning to expand the room to 8x4' if i needed, and add one 600whps, good luck with your plans!

Day 17 after chopping the Sweet Tooth
The smell/taste of the Sweet Tooth is just amazing.It ended up having a very fruity taste to it,which is what I like so I'm very happy with it.The first three pics are Sweet Tooth,I'll be sure to get better pics soon.
The Orange Kush has been curing for two days.The last two pics are of Orange Kush just after trimming,I got 2oz 4g off of this plant.Which puts the total a little over 12oz,thats not including a lot of "sucker" buds from the Sweet Tooth that Ill be making more hash with.

I was also thinking about buying a tent for bloom,but I'm not sure if it's necessary because I have two rooms anyway.
I do need to hurry up and figure out what I'm gonna do though.I tend to get a little lazy after harvesting.

Nice buds! I got some solid buds with a 400 but only where they were right up under the light. Running the 600 this time in the same space, same genetics, so it will give me a good comparison. Thanks for all the local tips man. When's the next journal?!

I can tell you that before the sweet tooth even sprouted a friend of mine told me that they flower a lot faster than Barney's Farm says.And they did,about 7weeks and my pheno was done.

Grape Krush is a strain from DJ Short,I believe it's a Blueberry cross.Seeds are available online.Supposed to be a pain to grow.
Anyhow
I can't get the damn purple stems/leaves to go away,but they're going strong.
I have a feeling it's gonna blow the Sweet Tooth and Orange Kush out of the water.(Although the Sweet Tooth is amoung some of the tastiest strains I've ever had)

The buds are,but I'm not sure that the stems and leaves should be.
They're doing fine though.

OH MAN yes they are, u should be very very very stoked, not all cats get the purp phenos u know..
but some really really lucky dudes get almost black phenos bro, they purple down soo hard.. like the whole damn plant, leaves stem everything..
Ppl are not very educated on strains at RIU, icamg is where i hang too, there alot more strain focused, theyve got a DJ Short sub forum over there, check it and ull see ur one lucky mofo..
altho RIU, is my fave place, is just cooler laid back dudes..
