Switching to flower

Hey guys

Im about 12 days from switching. I was wondering if anyone has tried a gradual switch?
Im currently running my lights 20/4 so I was thinking of adding 1/2 hour every night until I get to 12/12

Do you think this would have any advantages or disadvantages? I always here the phrase "try to replicate mother nature" when growing indoors.

I have tried this before and if I want a earlier harvest i cut the light hours down to 10 in last 2-3 weeks. You won't have any problems I wouldn't think, If anything I think it helps. The phrase you hear is what we are trying to do :)

You're gonna need a lot more time to replicate mother nature, just go to 12/12

Thanks for the replys.

I guess the more light the better until i switch, And if it was a better way, everyone would be doing it.
