Swollen calyxs

I just read somthing bout if your calyxes? arent swollen your plant is probably not done i was curious how do u identify a swollen "calyx"?

anyone on this or no

the calyx will swell in the later stages of flowering to increase surface area for trichomes to spread.

I go by the trichomes, or the glands not the calyxs. Some strains are different from others. The trichs how ever are easier to tell if your plant is ready, or almost there. The trichs start at clear, then turn milky, then turn amber thats when their done. Clear is less stoney, milky more stoney and amber is stoney. You have to get a scope of some kind to see the trichs well, they look like little rain drops with a bulb on the end.

I finally got a scope today and checked out all of mine. Most are still Clear so guess i still gots a ways.. but yet the calyxs are swollen. There are some milky trichomes but for the most part they are clear.

As you can see I got a ways to go on mine too.

Hahaha holy shit, i get the same looks from those fucks at walmart. But the trichomes on that plant is mainly all clear. i'd say 80-20/clear-milky gonna let it this one go for about another 3 weeks.

i'm lookin for like 20% ambers with the rest milky if at all possible. i dont no if i will reach that in 3 weeks or not

u got it outside chief? my buddy's got one outside, it's about 80% cloudy triches on it and we're just hopin the weather holds long enough. Looks like snow this weekend though

I have it outside yeah i am probably more south of you then, the lowest the temps are suppose to be getting around my area is around the upper 40's which still isn't great for cannabis, but she'll be straight hopefully.

Lows here are supposed to get to like 40, maybe 38 at night!
