Swollen nodes, No Preflowers, 5 weeks.. 12/12 from seed grow

Hi peeps, I'm currently growing a plant 12/12 from seed, the strain im growing is sleestack x skunk (Herbies Freebe) using multipurpose compost (Evergreen) transplanted into 11l pot 2 days ago.. I have them in a 2x2x3 homemade grow box under 250w HPS and 125w CFL (Big dual spec, added 1 week ago) Temprature in 25.c ON/ 15.c-18.c OFF.


I'm about 5 weeks into the grow and the plant still isnt showing any preflowers??, I did notice the bases of the side branches are beginning to swell, Is this the early signs of a female plant?? I also had the cfl on the blue spectrum side rather than red. Do you think this could be the reason they're not showing flowers? I dont see any sign of being female. IT is bushy plant but it seems a deficiency rising. What is your running off ph of ur soil and water. I think your ph is little high to me

i think they are not showing because they are not happy in your environment and or the care you are giving them
the texture of the leaves looks a little dehydrated the leaves also look distorted slightly in shape
some burning in places and discolored lighter green in others, also the leaves are small with few blades
they look slightly burnt by nutes and warm air

even though they are 12/12 with no veg period they should be bigger by now
it could also be poor genetics that is contributing to the plant staying so small and not showing any sex
i think you should get some new seeds started if you are able to because if this thing does not pick up soon you will be
spending lots of time waiting for a tiny harvest, in the mean time you could get some more started and hopefully have better luck

Heres some more pics exactly 6 weeks from seed(12/12) Its now has small female pistils, no males from what i can see.. I've been continuing to tie down the branches to get more bud sites(LST) Also watering alot more than i was, every 2 days now..

Hps bulb also died recently so i ordered a replacement one, Dual-spec this time as i hear they're more suited for 12/12 grows..:leaf:

If yours is anything like the pheno I have, you'll love how frosty the sleeskunk can get. I've had one in my garden for almost 4 years now....
