What’s going on RIU!!

finally decided to start a grow journal. My expectation from this, is to end the grow with more knowledge and to help the community as much as possible.

This is not my first grow, but is my first showing it. Please understand I am getting used to uploading pics etc. Also, feel free to chime in at any point.

So let’s start with my rooms. I have a veg room with 1 4x8 table and 2 600HPS. I trade one out for a 6 bulb T5 When they are in solo cups and run the 2 600’s when they go into their final 2 gal fabric pot. There will be 16 plants moving to the flower room each time.

My flower room is sealed (or as sealed as I can get it). There are 2 4x8 tables that will hold 8 plants each. There is a homemade screen that goes over these. I wouldn’t class this as a scrog, but it sure helps spread them out. I run Co2, have an AC and a dehumidifier in this room. There are 4, 1000 watters with air cooled hoods. I also have a large carbon filter that scrubs the air inside the room. It is 12x14.

The medium is coco, with a homemade top feed auto water system. Very simple, drain to waste.

3 strains that I have weeded down to over the years.

Exotic genetix - 4 kings I ran a ton of their stuff. I love it!

Cali connect - Tahoe OG.... extreme lemon/diesel funk

Humboldt - sugar breath... I popped and grew a shit ton of these and found the one purple monster!!

September 1st these were taken from the cloner and put in coco, in solo cups.

September 21st transplanted into 2 gal fabric pots with straight coco.

September 24th they were all bent over using low stress training.

I will first add a pic of the plants now (still have the t5 over some)

I will also add some pics from the last grow and a couple outdoor plants to give you an idea what to expect. It’s late, I’m tired and will be sure to keep the updates coming!!

I am no photographer, but I try my best with a phone cam.

So here we are 4 days later. The girls have got to the point I will put them under the 1000’s and start pounding them with co2. You can see where they were at the top of my first post. This would be 28 days since planted in coco from the cloner.
I’m not sure why my pics are sideways this time. Some help on that would be great

Stocks are starting to get some girth to them. The growth over soil still amazes me. The fact I can finish in 2 gallon pots and pull insanely large yields like I have in hydro systems, with more forgiveness, keeps me coming back. I will admit, the same strains outdoors organically grown probably have more taste. But these strains produce such an enormous terp profile anyways.

This is how I build my screens. I believe the holes are 3.5”x3.5”. Again, with 8 plants per 4x8 I wouldn’t call this a scrog. But it does help me keep the canopy even and helps hold the large buds if I wait too long to flower

I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do. Questions, tips or comments are more than welcome.

I also like to try a new strain every second grow. I have probably grown most of the mainstream breeders gear. I have seen lots of threads on breeders I have never heard of, producing some AMAZING stuff. Maybe this isn’t the place to ask, but any fire genetics with a pic would be great.

thank you all!!!
