hey whats ups ladies and gents! I was bored this weekend and I decided to work on my newbie veg box and I have to say that I did alot of reading and looking at pics of everyones shit and I must say thank u to all for the archive of info that I absorbed from this website. I saw my 300w HQI HM and said Im gonna gut this thing out and make my own light. before i was using cfl's but I wanted to make it more interesting. check it

oddesey HQI MH 175w each lamp

a piece of plywood covered with poly.

off centered the lamp to balance with fans and other devices.

fan then attached to plywood


this was pretty tricky as i had to go threw my notes to get the wiring back after gutting.

done with wiring now to fabricate something to hang it






ran it for like an hour and that was my temp reading.
If theres any room for improvement advice would be appreciated. thanks stickyiky

thanks once again folks. I put them in yesterday and its looking pretty good in there. Im just waiting 1 more week then going outdoors. Its been raining up here in the northeast for the past few days and I dont want to kill them with all this rain. but anyways thanks again and Ill post some pics if I make any changes
