Taking a shot with the bubble bucket....

Immediate success has been realized, from diving into the DIY bubble cloner scene. I was so pleased with the expedited results, I let one spare grow for almost three weeks in its homemade, black plastic coffee can buubler zone.... This got the gears turning, and since confidence is currently boiling over, I picked up a 5gal bubble bucket kit from the hydro store.
I did exactly ONE hydro run, as an extreme Noob, around the turn of the century with RW cubes in a flood table, and they grew so dadgum-diggity fast I ended up scrapping the operation, before ever even flowering them.....
The reason I'm believing this bucket method may be advantageous for my situation is, winter is coming here in Da UP of MI.... I feel like the annual thorn in my side, of COLD(50-60f) concrete floors, can be turned in to a benefit with DWC containers. Ive built raised drain "tables" for my cloth pots, to stay OFF of the cold floors , but the buckets, ideally need to stay on the cool side anyway right??? Sorta a self sustaining chiller system??? Not having 2 or more 55 gallon drums of frozen rootballs in the garage until April is very appealing!

I already have 2+ lbs of Megacrop in the arsenal along with a RAW supplements I play around with, so the plan is to get a cut ready in the next few days, and get this thing percolating.
I have 150ppm tap water, should I be considering using RO water exclusively with Megacrop? I don't have an RO system, but I can justify buying jugs for a single bucket if necessary.....

Subbed!
I'm looking forward to follow your ride since i'm about to do the same.
I got a 15+ gallon bucket, 175ppm from tap, Plant Magic DWC nutes, 2 airstones.

I've heard that my 175ppm water should be fine so your 150ppm should be good to go. Just don take my words for a fact, more experience hydro guys need to confirm this ;).

for a noob to dwc, i think using 0 ppm water is good advice for your first few runs. it totally eliminates one potential problem: your water source. you'll have plenty of other things to worry about.
