Sounds like your a n00b who didnt do any reading or research and hopped into it too fast. I base this on your lack of posts, lack of pictures, lack of description of an actual problem or any idea of what your using or having trouble with.
If you cant even explain your problem, what do you want us to tell you?
Buy a book? Read some FAQs here? Research? Read? Watch videos? Learn?

Im with Research on this one...You got to look into shit before you start doing...I've been growing for a while and just started Aerponic which is a form of Hydro in case you didnt know but this shit is so damn easy as long as you know about Nutrients Lighting Ventilation all that fun stuff..YOu cant just stick some seeds in some water with air bubbles doesnt work that easy

Hey man, I agree that you should stick with soil as a new grower. It hard enough to figure out your plants without having to worry about dialing in a hydro setup. Hydro leaves so little room for error that you eventually just get caught in a downward spiral as a new grower many times. I would recommend a few soil grows under your belt before messing with hydro again. Learn your plants first.
Sad to see that even a MOD here can't offer a kind word. Some people don't learn through those methods Kitty. If all the newbs stopped posting questions and asking for help then this site would have no traffic. Lots of people like affirmation or would rather hear it from someone than read it in a book.

What would you have me say? The OP asked no question and was only complaining about problems he didnt describe. Not even a picture of the trouble. Or even a reply of whats up since. So what do you expect?

He Kitty, I didn't mean any disrespect. I hadn't checked on his recent posts (or basically all of his posts). A lot of guys come on here just to ask a question and then they leave when they get a few answers. Not trying to to say anything bad about you or your decision. Just feel like some guys REALLY don't know what they are doing and need a little more guidance and help.

Soil is the easiest and the most forgiving. Aero is the hardest and least forgiving, but produces the best in quantity and quality.
To me, DWC (deep water culture) is a happy medium. Easy and inexpensive, but more labour intensive than soil, it produces top quality weed.
If you've spent ant amount of money on your setup, I'd have to say to give it another try, but do some thorough reasearch first.

That's not quite true - I think it is universally accepted among many experts that if anything, organic buds have noticeably better flavor to them, but the growth rate in hydro is faster.

I saw a couple posts and articles about this a while back. Someone had a thread. Wish I had saved it. Basically they did a blind taste test with herb at a dispensary. First they told people which one was organic and which one was not. Most people chose the organic. Then they switched it and told people the organic was sythetic and vice versa. Most people chose the synthetic thinking it was organic. Then they didn't tell the people which was which and slightly more people chose the synthetic.
I'm not totally buying the whole organic tastes better theory. I've smoked the best of both and they were both equally as impressive. I think if you go organic for the reason of not wanting to use chemicals then that is definitely a respectable personal decision. If you go organic because it is cheaper and you brew your own teas and make your own composts then I respect that as well. I really don't think organic is any better tasting than synthetic though if both are grown, harvested, and cured correctly.

Stick with the soil man... It's the best... Not to frown on hydro... I do like me sum hydro, but Im not gonna deal with all the crap that I hear about, when I can grow JUST as dank of buds, that r every bit as awesum in my well-balanced and well-fed soil... Plus, itz much more natural... There's no "hydro"-pot plants growing in nature... So, why mess with perfection and natural settings?-not to mention create a shit-ton more work for yerself? Especially if u have a full time job to hold down, too?

I agree Phil, I have seen posts from guys on here (With 5k posts or more) saying they can taste the difference when the use bottled or purified water to grow there plants? lol priceless!
