Tangerine Dream, Afghan Kush Special 1200 Watt Grow Room. 3 Weeks into Flower

So I had another journal but it was lost somehow. Anyway here are the goods.

10 x 8 grow room built from frame and drywall
painted white
2 600 watt HPS lights
Hortilux bulbs
I am experimenting with soil and DWC on this grow to determine which comes out best for my next grow. Have many babies waiting for this grow to finish.
One Tangerine Dream in a 10 gallon pot with Fox farm OF and my special blend of seasonings
ONe Tangerine Dream in a 5 gallon dwc bucket General Hydro nutes
One Afghan Kush special in a 5 gallon dwc bucket General Hydro nutes

They are currently 3 weeks into flower. Have them trained on netting to maximize yield, vegged for about two months but took tons of cuttings so they took a while to recover. Not sure if I am going to run with the Afghan kush or the TD, whichever is a better smoke will stay in the room next grow.
The soil plant is staying strong with the DwC buckets, but my soil blend is amazing. The DWC stems are a bit bigger though. I would love suggestions from people or comments.

The weed pics are of the afghan kush ryder auto strain single seed centre had given me. It came out pretty good for my first auto, good fruity taste.

SO just checked on the plants. The soil plant is drinking like a gallon every two days, I even fill the saucer at water time and its all sucked up in one day amazing. Does anyone know if I should cut the bottom of the pot and stick it into a bigger pot with more soil? The dwc buckets had like an inch of water at the bottom. I have been refilling with only two gallons, they drink this pretty much all in about two days.. They seem to be liking that amount of water. I raised the ppms to 1100 tonight. I want to use an organic nutrient solution any recommendations? THey are still stretching and its around week 3 so maybe the stretch will stop in about a week or two. I am still moving them around in the netting as they get taller, the netting is pretty much full. Could be a little better but next grow will be good with four additional plants instead of putting another 600 I am going to use both of the 400 watters I have.

yeah they do drink gallons of water when they start flowering a little bit more work but its ok ill be watchin

I changed some venting now my temps stay at 65 to 68 all day. This should pack on the extra resin. I was skeptical about the whole tangerine citrus smell but, its already there. The smell is like a sweet citrus blossom. This is only week four, only to get better. Enjoy the pics.

thank man, I am going to keep this journal going until I am smoking some cured Tangerine Dream and Afghan Kush Special. I think people are going to be surprised at how good the Afghan kush special is. I am of the thinking that you might as well wait to get the full taste. The afghan kush ryder auto strain that I had is curing in a glass jar inside a paper bag. She will be there for another 2 months until I open her up to taste.

So I was in the room today changing the water. Everything is going great. I noticed that the tangerine dreams are two seperate phenos. The one in the DWC bucket has a lot more space between nodes. THe one in soil has super tight nodes . I am most impressed with pheno in the soil. I am MOst impressed with the Afghan kush special. THese genetics are amazing. finishing fast super tight nodes and this one is going to have some fat buds. My soil plant is staying strong with the Dwc plants. Room temps at at a constant 65.1.

updated pics today. The afghan kush is swelling on a daily basis. FYI you guys never hear me talk about days to finish. I don't chop my buds till I see them being done. I have done strains that say should take 70 days, I end up chopping in 60 days. I have also done strains that say they should finish in 60 days but leave them in for 70. It's all about what the plant looks like, not the days to finish. I really think this medicine is going to help me a lot with my sleep problems. I am probably going to cook with most of it. Ok so the line up is as follows. The soil plant on the left is the Tangerine Dream (Indica Pheno) in soil. The middle plant is the Afghan Kush Special DWC bucket. The one on the right is Tangerine Dream Dwc bucket ( Sativa pheno). The AKS is fattening up nicely. YOU could clearly see the indica TD on the left is way more compact. I am currently liking this pheno better than the Sativa dominant pheno on the right. I am hoping though that that Sativa dominant strain fills in those long stems. If that is the case I will love them equally. Room Temps 65.1 constant. PH 5.8-6.3

PPMs 1100-1200
Soil plant getting nutes half strength, then plain water, then nutes, then plain water just to keep salts from building up in the soil. CHECK out the pics.

Check them out brought out the good cam. Aks is getting fat

OK- I'm jealous, you got a beauutii-ful gro goin' and I luv it. I have very gd luck with that bubblicous strain from NIRVANA Seed bank and been groin' her for over 2yrs. now and have tried Master kush ,white rhino and now OG kush too. BUT I can't find anyone thats better for yeild/taste/strength that'll outdo this fifi. Like I said the OG is only 2days in bud sooo- I'll see. later-

They are in week 4ish. I run a varied nute system. I keep my ppms relatively low. I give my nutes by reading the plants.
