Task Force Report

Yep, their argument will be now that if you don't want to grow for yourself you can now buy it, option which didn't exist prior to the MMPR/ACMPR and legalization.

His name is Trudeau...not sure how you came up with "trust fund"? Sounds like a comment from an 8 year old. Maybe you're just drunk.
I voted Liberal...so fuck you too. I'm guessing the guy you voted for had a better plan for ending prohibition, eh? So every adult can possess, grow, and share...what else were you expecting,

Just joined, 1st post, but I will have a lot more to say. I read the report highlights yesterday. I have smoked for over 40 years but only recently gone the medical road. So .... my take from the report is that ANYONE can grow up to 4 plants. I am happy to see they found at least this one solution to the obvious problem that will exist, SUPPLY. I read that LP's produced about 180,000 tons of cannabis in 2014, but the black market produced over 4 million tons. Since that is a big gap to fill there has to been some alternative for users in the interim until the industry can catch up. Since too many strains have little or no CBD from hybridizing I need to grow my own to make my medicine from whole plant to reap the best benefit possible from the "entourage effect". Too tired now so more on that later.

Depending on what the government implements of course, but the whole 'registering with police' bit and whatever restrictions are implemented locally by the provinces or cities may exclude classes of people like renters, etc.

The task force recommends the ACMPR continue for 5 years, and changes to that program don't have to explicitly go before Phelan, a new case would have to be launched based on whatever changes the government makes to the current ACMPR. My guess is the government won't bother, but you never know.

Thanks. I sadly have not yet read the new ACMPR. My wife obtained her card under MMPR so the Allard decision was of no benefit to her for growing. The low level she was setup at makes buying from Tweed less desirable since it cannot even come close to what I can buy on the "street", neither for price or quality. I best go read the new regs lest I pass on bad information

some stuff doesn't sit to well.. but overall; admittedly better than i expected.
4 plants less than 100 cm seems, iffy.

i still don't know how entrepreneurs are supposed to get in this industry though?
seems it's small home grow, self medical grow, or large warehouse (LP) grow.. doesn't seem a place for someone to start small and work towards a mid size boutique grow, that the majority of folks knowledgeable in marijuana would likely be doing.
*though i only skimmed through it.

step in the right direction.

notice a lot of talk about THC and CBD percentages.. opening a lab may be the better/cheaper/most profitable option than being a grower eh ;-)

These percentages are necessary for us medical user because they are important to dosage and efficacy. I agree entrepreneurs are not getting a great break here but that will surely change as time goes on.

I definitely see awesome potential in opening a lab, but in the interim anyone can buy a sniffer that will provide an accurate measure of various cannabanoids and terpenes. I have a few links to some if you want more info.

<< as a well as hilarious[nooooo..not the bloom box thang]

HC is a" dog in a manger "that knows and wants to know nothing about cannabis..

wants you to have a hard time and would rather everyone be fk'd up on pharma's

has lost every battle they were in over med cannabis

but still doesn't care because its not on their dime..and

when given guidelines to follow they do much less than requested...

and will be back in court again..because this new acmpr thing is being handled worse than
mmar ever was...

legalization if/when it happens..you can bet the same will happen..lying , stalling, more lying
more assertions based on no facts..then more stalling

I suppose your unaware of the fact that Justin has a trust fund from his father and i suppose your also unaware of the foundation Justin set up in his fathers name... i supposing your also unaware of the shadyness of some contributions to that fund...
he presents him self as one of the people, a middle class drama teacher, but the truth is he will never know what its like to live like the majority of people of witch he now governs

Well The truth is the prohibition on marijuana and hemp is solely because of the oil corporations, Hemp was the largest pharmaceutical up untill this 80 year prohibition.

If you are unaware of any of this;

Funny you should say that. I have MS and I recently discovered that HC recommends Sativex for treatment of spasticity. I realize that it is a pharmaceutical out of Britain but it is made from whole plant. If I was fortunate enough to find a doctor/neurologist to prescribe it I would just need to cook of the alcohol to create my own cannabis oil. Both hash and pot provide amazing relief from the muscle clenching referred to as the "MS belt"[/QUOTE]

Every rich person has a trust fund or something similar. Same with foundations. It's for tax purposes. And the vast majority of prime ministers have been filthy rich well before they got in office, moot points are moot.
