Taskenti from Cannabiogen. The real hashplant

whats the range on the flowering time for these babies? And are the one's CSI Humboldt offer (Uzbekistan) the same as these?
What do you mean by the range? They are ready in 8-10 weeks indoors, and I've harvested them the first week of October in good weather years. Supposedly, the slower specimens are stronger and they can produce more.

Nobody but me is offering these seeds. They are unique. If you read the first posts, I tell the story of these seeds.

New generation of Taskenti. These were made with the selected TT GZ female from 2008 and several males from 2005 and I planted the seeds 5 weeks ago. I'll put them in 1l pots today.

There are quite a lot, 27 iirc, and they look quite healthy with their broad and dark leaves. These will need a lot of work: selecting and cloning all the females before going into flower.

Today I harvested the Black Dominas that spent that last days indoor. I decided to wait a week more for the Taskentis, but some could be harvested as well. That's what the Taskentis look like:

They are tall and productive, and they have a lot of resin. There is one, the one with four tops, that didn't react very well indoors but there is a lot of good bud anyway.

I don't manicure before harvest, but I removed some fan leaves to have a better look of the buds. These are plants from the 2008 seeds F2, and they make big hard buds.

I didn't want to wait more for the harvest, maybe a week more would be nice but I've got a lot of breeding work ahead.

7 weeks ago I planted a lot of seeds I made with the TT GZ cut and several males from the 2005 run. There are plenty of them, and I believe some will be kept.

The first weeks are boring, but they will start to grow faster now.
Dark and wide leaves, and very short internodes.

And these are some seeds I made in the outdoors season with the best 2008 F2 males and my Black Domina 1998 keeper. They started appearing now with the harvest works, but I believe I will find several more.

I think that a good selection work with these seeds can provide a very nice hybrid with the characteristics of the best Afghan plants, coming from the Black Domina, and the best plants from Uzbekistan hashmaking (Taskenti).

Tasty, productive and knock-out indica stone. Why not?

These plants in the bottom are the new Taskentis made with 2005 males. Since I have to take cuts and save all the females, these will take some time.

These plants keep growing. Pure Taskenti made with the 2005' males. When they get about 40 cm tall I'll switch the timer to 12/12, it will take maybe a couple of weeks, and then I'll take cuts of all the females.

And this one is the pure Taskenti mom I selected from the last run, with the 2012 males. Nice breeding tool for the next generation, I liked the aromas and effects a lot and I love to have the opportunity to test it in good conditions.

The structure is a lot like its mother's. When cloned, these plants show a lot of bushy branching.

I'm interested in this. I have been looking at Taskenti for years but never ended up with any of the beans. Magic Herbs made some F3s and some crosses awhile back, but I didn't know about it until all the F3s were gone.

The plants have started to grow fast, so I've put the Taskentis in the flowering tent. In a week I'll sort the males and take cuts of the best specimens.

100% Taskenti flowering.

I'm also testing the clone I selected in the last run.

19 days have passed since I switched the timer. Stretch is over, now the flowers start to appear. I took two of them out of the tent to have a better look at their robust structure.

Their stems smell strong, their leaves are dark and they look quite happy.

The resin is going to appear in the next days.
Have a good day, folks!

Exactly at 3 weeks 12/12, resin appears. That's mathematical, very nice and never disappointing.

I find these plants made with 2005 males to have as a tough structure as these from 2008.

44 days. All of them are very similar, productive and resinous. This is one of the best looking batches I've made. I've pictured them inside the tent and outside. There isn't much natural light, so I find difficult to get a good picture with these mixed spectrum lights.

In a couple of weeks they'll be ready to chop.

After harvesting them I can say I already have some conclusions. There were a total of eight female plants with an average weight of about 25 grams of dry bud. The plants are very similar in smell, they are very green to be smoked yet, but the smell is the kind I was looking for. Very similar to the mother plant I use as a reference. Hints of lemon or mint on some, but generally spicy, kind of warm earthy, tasty. Stronger for sure than the plants coming from the 2012' or 2005' seeds.

I bet they'll be strong in effect as well. This generation looks like the best I've made, and the 2005 Taskenti males mixed the best with the reference cut.

After smoking I'll keep one or two of the clones to keep working. I still have a very tasty lemony mother from the 2012 males that now I'll compare with these new keepers.

I'll also keep planting seeds to find the best specimens I can. Now I'll grow some old F2 I made in 2012 with the 2008 males and the keeper cut. These had some problems related to endogamy and were the last generation before the seedbank had to retire the strain, but the new males and females I made look very healthy and don't look like inbreed.

See u soon

I've been smelling during several days the plants I just harvested and I already could discard some plants, just the ones with less smell. In my experience with this strain, the strongest the smell the strongest the effect, and also the smoking experience gets better.

I keep just 3 females from this batch, the strongest smelling ones, with different aromas including lemon, earthy, spicy, chocolate and dried fruits and nuts. I'll smoke them in a couple of weeks, after a month of curing.

Also I've harvested the plant selected between the 2012 males and the keeper clone, but this time I've let her mature for 10 weeks. It smells much more and I guess it will be much stronger. Now I have to compare this one with the other three.

These are the two cuts I'm keeping after years testing and selecting. They are two days short of four weeks 12/12, and they look good. I've already discarded a couple of them that were very impressing visually but not that much in effect.

I'm making a run of them both to compare. One was a better producer and the other one was better in effect.

I don't discard to plant more seeds and keep testing and selecting in a month or two, just in case I can find better specimens. But I believe it is difficult now, I've been finding very good ones during these last years
