Actionable harms were done by racists, that was wrong of them to do that. That's not what I've been debating simpleton.

I'm defending the right of an indifferent person, even a racist, to control his own property, but not the property of others.
You've run from that discussion and created another argument for me to defend which is not the argument I have made.

When people do that, they are showing their inability to refute something. Green crayon is not a refutation.....sorry.

"indifference" is when a business owner treats a black customer just like any other customer.

that's not what was happening before civil rights. white racists like you were initiating aggression against blacks. their racist hostilities were not an example of "indifference", they were an example of aggressive racist hostility.

and, as we all know, not a single historian will agree with you. no one will. the actions of white racist business owners that you defend caused harm to blacks. plain and simple.

Indifference could mean that. It could also mean not wishing to participate in something or associate with someone or something.
You forgot that part....Prussian Schools again?

if it's so important for you to not associate with black people, then you are not indifferent. you are the opposite of indifferent.

here's a hint, racistroy: if you don't want to associate with black people, stay at home. if you must open a business, just make it private. that way you will never be faced with that horrible moment when a black person walks into your business, unaware that you are a white separatist who does not want to be around black people.

Long story. Uncle Gerbil and I have a long history of "debating" . It consists of him refuting arguments with nonsense, so I thought I would shit on his floors for him since he likes those tactics.


As far as being segregated do you feel that people have no right to choose who they will associate with and how they will use their own body and their own property? That human interactions should be decided not by the people involved but by others?

Do I need to pull some human rights philosphers into this thread too? Guys that are known for sound views on human/natural rights?

In combination with that (which is what Buck was saying earlier about how causing harm is not a protected right), and this:

The Federal Civil Rights Act guarantees all people the right to "full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin."
