Technical question about CFL light.

He want to do SOG method so many close together. Are you experienced in LEDs for that method? How far should they be you think. At the moment the large ones are about 8 - 12 (20 - 30cm) inches from the light and the clones just entering are about 18 - 20 (50cm) inches from the light. 240w QB
I'm experienced in light, the type dosent matter, you can Google ppfd charts for light distances then read the plant to dial in.

I hope I am right in saying that clones and seedlings are down at the 150u/mol light intensity, it's about there for me.

Interesting, it looks like clones only need around 100-150u/mol light intensity. So now i understand why there would be no direct need for the CFL while having the QB operational. The QB light could be quite far from the tops of the early flower stage clones and still effective.

However he is curious and want to play around a little with the CFL since its not operational in any other space.

At the moment its either, about half a meter from the clones with 2100k spectrum to induce stretch.

Or, later at end of flowering since the need less light? And represent the red late summer/autumn sun.

I saw 400 - 600 /mol light intensity for flowering however i didnt see anything about needing less light at the end of flowering.
