Hi all. I don't post here very often however I read quite a bit. I love this forum and thank you for letting me post here. My question is this. For potency and yield is it better to have sound growing techniques or great genetics?:peace:

both id say.
some strains are harder to grow than others.
and some people are better growers than others.

Yeah, what crazy said. It's not nature vs. nurture but instead is nature helped by nurture.

What I and others have done to start learning how to grow is to use bag seeds. You can kill them all day long and not be too upset since the seeds don't cost you $10 a piece.

i would say for the best buds, you gotta be on top of it both knowing how to grow and having great genetics....but i'd also like to make the point that you can have the best genetics in the world but if you can't grow the plant and keep it healthy enough to produce buds, it doesn't matter how great the seeds or clones you started with were, you wont see the buds...or ones that are up to par

btw welcome to the site.
have you started to grow yet?.
Yes I started my grow about 62 days ago. I made a few mistakes but this website has helped a ton. I am in soil under GE plant and aquarium florescent tubes. I have been using FF Big Bloom as my nutes. I plan to start flowering within the week and ad FF Tiger Bloom to my nutes slowly. My plants are about three feet tall right now. They got a little set back when my dog trampled them at three weeks. They were sarted outdoors but I got paranoid and brought them inside. So for so good knock on wood.

Tried it before, didn't like it though. I like Advanced Nutes. You can go chem or organic and either way you have a lot of control over certain factors. Like you said though, use the Tiger really light. It'll burn em easy.
