temp problems

i have a 9x3.5x 6ft room with 9 plants in i was running 3x600 watt hps, temps where at 110f and my crop suffered, i then invested in 3 new lamps with cooltubes and got all these setup temps are still at 90f. i have decided to remove one of the lights will there be enough light, my first idea was to get 3 400watt bulbs but then i remembered my ballasts are not digital lol .

instead of down grading your lights how about upgrading your ventilation or get a small AC ?

how is your ambi temperatures ? (temps out side the grow area) impossible to get it below that with out a AC and hard to keep it close with out prober ventilation, for a space like that and 3x600W I would probably run a 6 inch ventilation with a filter on for odor control and air replacement and another 6 inch on a sealed strain for the 3x600W

the only thing that will work is vent the room. you need to circulate it. suck the cold out side air into the flower room. this will work just fine buy a large fan cut a hole into the wall place the fan between walls. a barrel or industrial fan is preferred high cfm some thing like this . http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ventamatic-24-in-Direct-Drive-Tilt-Drum-Fan-BF24TF-ORG-UPS/202794268 or if your using co2 then its time to get an ac there is no way around one of these you can get smaller lights less watts or even cfl t5 and you will be back with the over heating . we have all been there and done that . time to spend some cash . summer is not even here yet. and your to hot already.

What size Intake you got, and how are you Exhausting??

Peace.

I was having Temps Issues BIG TIME, not 100% sure IF I have sorted it?? still monitoring daily..and so far so good ~ And I've just in the last week ordered a Cool-Tube..Oh well..will help lower Temps some more...? What I did that I think helped was I put my Fresh Air Intake Fan/Ducting setup on a Timer and now every half hr it comes on for 15 minutes then off again...since doing this My Temps have stabilized (For the time being) I've never had Temp Issues till trying to Dial in this GR with the 600w Hps...and because I live in the UK I can't afford for Temps to be going through the Roof...what with the Rozzers and their Copters...

Hope you sort...

Peace

yer i have two 6inch extractors one bringing it in and one taking it out i have them on dimmer switches because there very loud and where they throw the air out is a public walkway so i have them turned up as loud as i dare maybe the ac is the best bet thanks

no need for a intake ventilation, as long as you have a out take and passive intake holes, air being pulled out have to be replaced with some thing

use the intake to run the cool tubes and I bet you can get it down a bit, and look in to insulated Ducting and DIY boxes for the ventilation (a few pieces of plywood and some rock wool) so you can run it at max with out to much noise
