Hey man, nice grow. I am using H&G nutes for the first time and am very impressed so far. The only thing that I had to learn the hard way was that they run really hot and I burned my little girls early on but I think all is well now. I have a question; why are you moving away from H&G? Is it just because you want to do Organics? I am asking because I asked for the best stuff and everyone told me H&G and I am curious as to why you are switching.

Hey Berkman (as in Berkeley?) I have been using H&G for a little over a year with Amazing results(I cut down the recommended dosage -25%). I just want to give organics a shot and compare the results. That stuff is not cheap and is kind of a pain in the butt for an old hippy:peace: like me. I'm getting older and trying to treat my body a little better by eating more locally sourced food, no soda less processed food and now I would like to clean up my Herbs and save a ton of money.

Nah not berkley, but that's a good try! Thanks for the info, did you mean you cut the nutes down by 25%? Also, did you use the entire lineup? I have been using Aqua Flakes A&B plus Drip Clean and I just picked up Multi Zen and Roots Excelurator, do you have any thoughts/reviews on these items? I would love to hear what an "old hippy" has to say about this new fangled technological whatsit. hehehehheh

I use everything but the Algen Extract, I also do not use it for Veg. I use Verde by Humboldt for veg. H&G just don't cut it in the veg room. Probably why they just added the Nitrogen Boost to the line. Compared to say Fox Farms line I think this stuff blows it out of the water. If I can't get similar results with Organics I will return to H&G.

Great info! So.... even with the Nitrogen Boost H&G is weak in veg? I have noticed that my plants are not as dark green as I would like but I assumed that was because I wasn't using the Nitrogen Boost.

I have not tried it, was not available until last week here. I would highly suggest getting the complete line if you are going to use it. The Bud XL and Shooting Powder is your key to success. Top Booster is only used in week 5 so you will never run out(I noticed it slows down the premature yellowing of the leaves). The Amino treatment seems to keep them strong and solid even after a heavy watering.

Bud XL, Top Booster, and Shooting Powder will be purchased in 2 weeks. I will have to wait until next run for the Amino Treatment cuz its really expensive. Thanks again for the info.

Looks like most of my plants will be ready next week(8 weeks 12/12) Going with all seedlings for the first time ever indoors. Usually just pick up clones and off to the races. Hope to grab a clone of each and keep the best after they finish.

Worm did you ever get a grape crush clone. More of an indica high, but a lil spacy. I really like that one, plus the color is pure purple after 5 1/2 wks.
I like to over stuff the cloners as well.

No I just got two gurples, I don't think you had cut them yet. Both of my gurples look totally different. One is super dark green and just now turning dark purple and the other looks like a raibow took a dump on it.

Could be I was high when I labelled em, but I flowered 2 as well and one got purple and other was just slightly purple. Do they smell the same?
